And it's for Memorial Day weekend, and it's at the first lunch seating!! We had to change our trip from June to May, and one of the things I was upset about was losing my June CRT ressie. I decided to try but didn't expect to get anything, given that it's only 4 months away and a holiday weekend at that. Needless to say I'm thrilled! :cool1: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes princess:

I wonder what (if anything) this says about bookings/crowds in general and how Disney is being affected by the economy? I couldn't get breakfast or lunch last June, and in Dec. I could only get a really late (2:30) lunch, so this really surprised me!

I had to share--only fellow disney addicts would understand :goodvibes

This is how I felt about getting our CRT ressie. I was told that we didn't have a prayer -- yet we got breakfast at 9:35 (a little later than we wanted) on one of the days we were hoping for (was willing to build my trip around it should it be necessary, but we didn't have to change any plans).

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

OK...I'm confused. I thought reservations were now made 90 days out? But Memorial Day seems longer than 90 days. I'm not questioning your reservation but we will be in Disney World 2 weeks after you and were told we could make reservations beginning on 3/15/09. Thanks for clarifying.

She probably lucked out b/c she had them at the 180 day mark before it changed to the 90 day mark. The 180 day mark for our June trip was some time last month. We're probably screwed b/c it's now 90. We weren't booked until just about 2 days ago. :(

Oh thanks. I figured someone would have the answer to my stupid question. Just when I think I've got things straight I read something else which confuses me. Thanks again!!!

I am pretty sure that CRT still allows 180 days. The exception to the rule. ;)

Congrats! CRT is booking at 180 days out. I booked ressies for the first week of June. I had booked brekkie at 8:05 but changed to dinner because I didn't want to get up so darn early! :rotfl2:

I don't know that it says much for the crowds (although it could). It seemed like ppl were canceling all the time before Christmas and the parks were still packed! I think cancelations have more to do with the credit card hold and being charged if they don't show...or the price of the meal/experience itself.

CRT and Chef Mickey's are still 180 days, everything else is 90 :). I asked because I hadn't bothered to count on the calendar (but was pretty sure I wasn't there yet) and he confirmed that I couldn't make any other ressies ;).

I assume it's a restaurant because it's on the restaurant thread, but which one? Oh these abbreviations take sooooo long to learn!!! :confused3 Is there a list of them somewhere that I've missed??
Thanks.
Newbie me,
