can you believe that.. I rebooked and will call on Monday to see if I can get that $$ back!!!

I am so so so happy!! it ended up being $376 for the 5 of us for the whole trip.. you just can't drive for that $$!!!!!!!

I just booked and rebooked two tickets round-trip (non-stop) from Buffalo to Orlando for $150!! I watch those boards everyday and I couldn't believe what I saw. Call a representative as soon as you can - the one I talked to was so helpful and I feel like I just won the lottery!!

These boards are great - After doing my daily browsing this morning and seeing your posts on SWA I called and now have a $360 credit (I am to call them when I return from my trip - is this standard?)

But the best thing is the 6 of us are now flying for $451.20 - oh ya - what a deal!

We are also non-stop out of Buffalo on Jan 21 and returning non-stop Jan 28!

I cannot wait to be cruisin with Diney.

Wow! I wish I'd seen this sooner, I could have saved $200. As it is, I saved $100, which ain't too shabby.

Add that to the $76 I saved by switching fares last month, and that's a tidy savings over the original $424 for two people that we were originally going to pay. Next step is calling them on Monday to see if we can get the funds charged back to the credit card.

Call their customer relations departement and they will probably credit this to your credit card immediately. That number can be found on the Southwest website.

Mousy_in_Canada: Thanks for the info. I immediately went to swa.com after reading your post and sure enough, my return flight had gone down to $59.00. I had checked last week and it had dropped $22.00 and now another $75.00. WooYoo! I called and we saved $225 on our flight! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so excited. This is why I love these boards.

I am glad I was able to help! I get to phone in the am and get the credit back on my CC... the great thing is it is $5.00 more than what I still owe on my room!!!! so I am going to have that totally paid because of this!

Question to those who got the $$ credited back to their CC - how did you do this? The lady I spoke with - very nice - re-booked my tickets over the phone to the lower rate, however when I asked her about a refund to the CC she said that the original tickets were non-refundable and therefore she could only give me a credit towards a future flight. I would much rather have the $$ - any tips?

Either way - I sure am happy about that price - imagine being able to fly to Disney and back for $75.20 each!!

Huh... I called the 1800 line, and she said she'd put in a request and that the amount would be credited back within 30-60 days.

29$ all gone now.....they have bumped them upto 59$ NS buffalo to orlando....so that works out to 135$ approximately

OK, my refund didn't work. She said because I had a "vnet" fair first and then a promotional fair that she couldn't refund me, if it had been the other way around then I could have gotten the refund? Not sure I understand, but I guess having a credit to fly is not so bad.

I would argue that if I could, did your flight info stay the same? the same time and date and everything.. phone back and see if you get the same answer....
