OMG.....what is it with dogs and corn cobs!!!!!

Just got back from Sam's club...walk in the kitchen....and my garbage is torn apart!!! My small garbage is always under the sink...but started a big black bag since it is garbage day.

My dog NEVER tears apart the garbage.......UNLESS there are corn cobs in there....and I forgot DH and the kids had corn last night!!!!!

Walk into the living room...and corn cob particles EVERYWHERE!!!!! I am sooo MAD at my dog!!!! Obviously I know they are NOT good for her!!!!!

Can't believe how NUTSO she goes for corn cobs!!!! It is terrible!!!!

Went into my room where she sleeps....she has her head against the wall and won't even look at me!!!!

Oh well....time to clean up the mess!!!

Sorry...I had to LOL! My dog 'knew' when she was guilty and would put her face toward the wall too. You just gotta love em!

Our lab LOVED corn cobs and watermelon rinds.

He was a sweet dog, but if we didn't keep our garbage under lock and key, he turned into a canine garbage disposal.

We feed the squirrels and as soon as that corncob is clean, if it happens to fall on the ground, my 11-month-old German Shepherd is ALL OVER IT! She carries it around, tosses it into the air, and covets it until she eventually shreds it to bits.

She is FAR MORE INTERESTED in corn cobs than in any of her legitimate toys. My DH calls her a "hillbilly dog." I'm relieved to hear that she's not the ONLY one!!!!

You know they make moonshine out of corn cobs. Maybe your dog is eating the cobs for medicinal purposes.
