OMG! We did it!

We were perhaps fortunate in that when we first went there was only the Poly, CR and Golf Resort - by the time CBR opened we were ready to try something new. Even when the values opened it was interesting - held off until POP opened. So we have had many wonderful experiences at all level of resorts...

Then last March we stayed at BWV - first time in a deluxe since GF in 2004 and I'm hooked again! LOL

So true - it is hard to go back to the mods and values after a deluxe stay

Congratulations! You'll love it. We did the same thing on our last trip. We had CBR booked, but the more I thought about it and the more I read... well, we ended up switching to WL. It was great!

This year, it's AKL. Just a few more days!

Stupid question, but we have never stayed in a Deluxe onsite...the coffee and tea in the room is that an additional charge if you use them? Also, did someone say turn down service is included? Do you just call and tell them you want this at a certain time or what? We are generally out of the hotel from 4pm to well after 10pm each night. We generally leave by about 9am come back around 2ish for a swim and rest and then we head out again between 4 and 5.

Wow, the Wilderness Lodge looks MUCH nicer than I remember it back in 2004! Maybe I'll do a Beach Club/Wilderness Lodge split stay for our next trip!

The in-room coffee and tea is complimentary. Housekeeping should replenish your coffee and tea supply each day. Turn-down service is included in concierge level rooms. You have to request it in a non-concierge level room. If they do give you turn-down service it will most likely occur after 4:00 PM.

I'm really happy for you. I want to stay at the WL too. I originally booked the WL for our trip this August. My parents decided to come, but they didn't want to spend the extra money for WL, so they booked POFQ. My children want to stay where my parents are and so do I, so I switched to POFQ to be with them. I know we will like POFQ and saving $600 is great, but after seeing these pictures, I really want to stay at WL. Some day we will get to go there.
