OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

Not the best episode last night, but it did have some amusing moments. The story line with Pam and Jim having lunch with his brothers was boring.

Last night's episode was the first in a LONG time that has disappointed me. I don't think I even laughed, which is really odd.

Not even when Pam talked about her looking like Hitler w/o the Chaplin hat or when Darryl slowly joined in when bopping and signing along to Life is a highway the 1st time?

Not the best episode and I wish the halloween stuff had been more of a focus as I think it would have been funny but I did enjoy it.

Instead of laughing at the end, like I usually do, I just felt really sad for Holly and Michael.

I was soooooooooooo looking forward to this episode and was left sooooooooooooo disappointed!! I think I may have chuckled a couple of times, but not the usual laugh out loud funny.

I also felt sad for Michael & Holly. I really liked Holly's character and was happy that Michael finally found someone who "gets" him and who is just as silly as he is.

I also thought it would focus more on Halloween and they would be in costume for the whole episode, they only showed them in costume for about 1 minute in the beginning.

I felt really sad for Michael & Holly too!
I wish they didnt break up-they are so good together.

I did like the part when Darrel was trying to get Michael to sing the blues, but he just didnt get it :rotfl:

Andy's college interview of Dwight was pretty funny too.
I loved the end when Andy came in dressed like a beet farmer and tried to bite into the beet :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This episode is right up there, IMO, as a classic! Michael on the plane was hysterical. Michael with the concierge... comparing her to a geisha... :happytv: then sneaking out of her room without his shoes... OMG!

I loved Andy trying to pick up guys for Oscar... then making the drunken call to Angela. I can't wait to see how that plays out!

Pam's back!!!

New to this thread--where have you guys been all my life?

Anyway, did you hear Dwight's voice in the background of the drunk-dial?

I wonder if Andy will remember that at some point. I'm starting to feel bad for him too. I think I actually like him, but Angela is not nice (insert better word, if you want). Yuck!

And what was Ryan's ulterior motive with the Kelly thing? Is he trying to get Darryl to beat him up so he has to quit or something? He's gross. I was disappointed when he returned this season.

Just my (new) $.02.

Personally, I think Ryan likes a challenge. It was a game. He didn't want Kelly when Kelly wanted him - remember? Now that Kelly didn't want him anymore and was involved with someone else, it bothered him. He went after her and "won" (or lost). I thought it was hysterical when Darryl was celebrating on his way out.

Yes! He said "who is that monkey?" :lmao:

Did you see the look on Ryan's face when she finally gave in and started kissing on him? :rotfl:

We wondered if it had anything to do with Darryl. Like, did Ryan want Darryl to beat him up so they could both be fired? Was Ryan trying to get out of working there.

The Ryan character makes my skin crawl and I don't like that in a sitcom. I'm kind of done with that story.

But we LOVED Darryl's stroll/strut to the car.

Darryl ALWAYS makes me laugh, and that scene was just hilarious..

Since I am adding to this for the first time..

Love the Jim/Pam thing...was worried at first that they were trying to break it up...glad thats over..

Dwight/Angela is awesome...I love Dwight.

BJ Novak (Ryan) and Mindy Kaling (Kelly) are writers of the show, so we're stuck with them ;), but I know what you mean about crawling skin. Ryan is icky.

Ryan is likely gone for most of the rest of the season, as Novak is going to be a big movie that starts filming soon.

I would imagine that he'll have to be let go as Pam appears to be back as the receptionist.

Oh darn.

I knew they were both writers. I just don't think his character is really doing anything for the show.

I thought Ryan was moving his work area over by Kelly because Pam was coming back. I didn't think he would be fired but now reading about his movie career, they may get rid of him after all.

"Nnnoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

DH called the line before Michael even started.

Caprese salad, anyone?

I was at a meeting at the library on Wednesday morning to help with the libraries 5-year strategic plan. One of the suggestions was better advertising. Then, Michael opens his wallet and his library card is clearly displayed! What great advertising! I can't wait to hear what my branches' staff has to say about that.

I loved Dwight volunteering to stud himself out. The house that Jim bought is so typical of what you can buy around here. Definitely a fixer-upper. There is a house on a main drag about 10 blocks from me that looks very similar to Jim's house without the garage... even with the landscaping.

Very funny about them not wanting to sleep in the master bedroom that Jim's parents occupied for so many years.
