OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

Wahh that is hilarious! OMG I have a dentist appointment coming up! Now how do you think I'll be able to get through it without thinking of that and breaking down into a fit of giggles?!?! :rotfl2:

It was so hard to not laugh. I think the thought of more pain is the only thing that stopped me. :rotfl:

So how did you appt go?

Oh yeah, I can't wait for tonight!!!!!!!!!

I wish it was an hour and not just 30 minutes.

I wish tonight was an hour long too. I think the finale for the season will be, at least according to Pam/Jenna's blog on her myspace page!

I'm trying to find stuff to do at work to actually stay busy to make the time fly faster! I'm never this productive!

Mine went ok, other than the usual dentist-related pain!

Another one here just waiting for tonight's episode!!!:woohoo:

In a few weeks, over April vacation, my daughter and I are off on a road trip and our first stop is Scranton, PA.:) We'll have the late afternoon and evening of one day and the morning of the next to visit "Office" sites. We're definitely heading to the Steamtown Mall (I've learned through research that the 'Welcome to Scranton' sign that is shown at the beginning of the show is on display at the mall) and daughter wants to eat at Poor Richard's Pub.

We're looking forward to visiting Scranton!

If you want a tour guide while you're in town, I can help you out, luvflorida.

They moved the Scranton sign to the visitors' center, I think. I'll try to find out for you. It's not in the mall. Poor Richard's is a smoky hole in the wall bar that is in South Side Bowling Lanes. I haven't been in the bar in a bazillion years, but I've been to the bowling lanes for kids' birthday parties and the bar looks pretty much the same. If you want to go some place that has a cool look to it, I'd suggest Cooper's Restaurant. The outside looks like a lighthouse. Inside, there is a ton of memorabilia from Scranton and of old board games and toys. When Hillary's father died, the Clinton's had the after funeral luncheon there.

If you want great Italian food, I can make recommendations for that, too. My BFF used to live in Texas and she'd send me real grits (not instant) and fajita marinade before it was readily available everywhere and I'd send her Italian products from around here.

Seriously, don't hesitate to let me know if you want a tour guide. The coal mine tour is really good, too.

I dunno....finding out that the elevator doesn't do a free-fall has kind of killed some of the allure for me, personally. ;)

Yay, it's tonight!! I'd completely forgotten (that's how blasted long it's been...grr) and thankfully saw a commercial at the gym to remind me. SO can't wait!

Well, once you get down there, do you guys have laser tag...or something...:lmao:

I'd love to get more info on the whereabouts of the Scranton sign. I looked at the menu for Poor Richard's Pub and it actually sounds quite tasty. Maybe we'll also get in a string or two of bowling.:)

We're staying at the Hampton Inn on Montage Mountain Road. It sounds like a decent place. There's also a restaurant near the hotel called Marvelous Muggs that sounds interesting. Have you eaten there?

Thanks so much for your offer. It's very kind of you. We're not exactly set on times, so I think we'll wing it. However, if you have any other suggestions for things to see while we're there, I'd love to hear them! Again, thanks!:)

LOL about the laser tag. The first time we took the tour (pre-kids) I told my DH that every child should have to see what our forefathers went through in the mines so that they'll value their education even more. From that shaft, you can walk to Dunmore, where we live. It's about 6-7 miles from the mine tour. They give an interesting presentation and you get a certificate to say you've been on the tour at the end.

The Hampton Inn is nice and has an indoor pool. I haven't eaten at Marvelous Muggs in years. For the quality of food, I'd eat at Kildaire's Irish Pub, or the Longhorn Steakhouse or Ruby Tuesdays that are also on Montage Mountain.

I'll find out about the sign and I'll PM you with some sights to see. There is really beautiful gothic architecture in Scranton. There's also a Dunder Mifflin flag hanging in front of City Hall. It's there because Dunder Mifflin joined the Scranton Chamber of Commerce. It's probably something your DD will want to have her picture in front of for her scrapbook.

Well, that was worth the wait! Don't read ahead unless you want some sub-spoilers or you've already watched it.

Michael's plasma TV.

"The osso buco will need to braise about 3 hours."

Dwight's date.

Everything about Jan tonight!

Luvflorida, the Coney Island hot dog stand that J&P went to at the end, though not represented accurately, was a landmark in Scranton. When you went there for a texas wiener, everyone with whom you'd come into contact would know that you'd been there because you'd smell like it until at least the next day, but boy were they great! Unfortunately, it was closed to demolish so it could be rebuilt. The historical society stopped destruction after the roof was removed because it was deemed a landmark. Then, with a court hearing scheduled for last Monday, it burned over the weekend. Yep... arson. The judge ruled that it was not worth refurbishing it at that point with no roof and fire damage. I hope the owner will rebuild it soon, but it won't be finished by the time you're here.

Hey Babe, it was soooooooooo:happytv: :rotfl2: tonight!

I loved it when Angela was like, You shouldnt joke about that! :lmao:

When Michael wen to hug her, and she squirmed "Dont DO that!"

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Michael :'He is the governor of California"

Jim : "Tom Cruise"

Michael :"Dont any of you people read he newspaper"

:rotfl2:

OMG Michael had HOW MANY vasectomies? Snip snip snip snip snip :rotfl:

Michael's comment about the "oaky afterbirth" of the wine...:lmao:

Pam saying "Awesome" when Dwight showed up.

Dwight's date eating Beet Salad out of a tupperware bowl.

Angela smashing the ice cream cone on the side of Andy's car.

The plasma TV mounting (if you want room you just push it back)

The whole charades game or whatever it was.......

Michael's bed

Jan's dancing

This episode was so worth the wait :happytv:

RUDisney: I was wondering if it was a place that actually existed in Scranton. I figured it must be.

OMG! What a funny episode! Can Jan and Michael's relationship be any more twisted!:scared: The camera on the tripod!:lmao:

I figured the woman that Dwight brought to the party must be a relative, but my husband said he bet it was someone Dwight picked up off the street. We laughed when it showed the poor woman standing at the bus stop.:rotfl:

Jim's face when he was trying to get away from the candle stench in Jan's work area.:rotfl:

Pam wanting to eat, then NOT wanting to eat.:rotfl2:

Jim saying his house was flooded, then at the end, saying his house was on fire.:lmao:

Oh best line...in true Office style, it was super fast. Just 4 words. In the end when they were trying to find a place for Michael to stay, they asked Jim. His response "my apartment burned down." OMG:rotfl:
