DH and I went to Uni to get our Frequent Fear passes today. Online the Rockit was showing 15 mins. so we hustled over to check it out. Sure enough, posted time outside was 20 mins. but we were through the line in 13. We did standby line a few times, then switched to singles because that was pretty much no wait at all. All told, we did 8 rides in 1 hr. 45 mins. and could have done even more if we'd done the singles line the whole time. I thought I was dreaming!! :thumbsup2

DW didn't see this, good thing. She would be there tomorrow if she did.She wants to ride it so bad..

Do you know if its still waiting till 11 to open, or has it been opening with park opening?

Hubby says it opened after 11 today, but when I check online I do see it opening earlier sometimes now. I guess it's just the luck of the draw.

I hope it's like that today - DH wants to ride it but the girls don't (well, one doesn't want to, the other is too short). So, hopefully it's a short wait.

Monday it was running by 9 AM when we were walking back to Mummy but around 11, it wasn't running anymore.

So how is the roughness and/or smoothness of the ride these days? Did they fix the problems? (I heard it was very rough in spots)

Here is the link for the online time checker. If it's not on the list, it's not open: http://66.77.171.132/MobileWeb/USF_WaitTimes.aspx

We didn't have any exceptionally rough rides from tire problems. Some rows are rougher than others, but overall the trains we rode were relatively smooth.

I'll second that. It was the smoothest coaster we've ever ridden. If you get there and it's got a crowd see if you can get in the singles line, your wait will go down to almost nothing. They will split you up but if you ask nicely you can get whoever is riding with your partner to switch with you so you can ride together anyway, that's how myself and DW did it.

Singles line took forever yesterday before HHN....we probably would have been better off in standby. Both DH and I got a front row singles ride tho' (we rode it two times...he got it the first and I got it the second).

I did singles 2 times on Tuesday and the first ride was great at 5-10 minutes but the next ride in singles was almost 30 minutes and they were right after each other.I rode it again singles at 4pm Thursday just before going into the Stay and Scream for HHN and it wasn't too bad 10-15 minutes. The coaster itself isn't incredibly rough compared to others I've been on,such as if you've ever been on Manhattan Express in the NY NY casino in Vegas then Rockit would be considered extremely smooth. One question I do have are there still kinks in this coaster that they have to fix, like why was it being tested for a good hour during Horror Nights?I still worry about some of the rumors before it opened such as the seats opening up in the middle of the ride.I don't want to scare anyone but seeing as how it doesn't have seat belts they must have this problem worked out,if it even was a real problem at all.

See post #9 on this thread for the times link.

Just wanted to comment on wait times today at IOA. They were non existant for the most part. We did almost the whole park and were gone by 1:30. Everything was walk on the whole day. I looked at Spiderman when we left at it still only said 10 min wait. It was great.
