OMG!!! Sirius automatically renewed my subscription!!

OMG!!!!

I got Sirius for Christmas last year, LOVE it.............read the thread a few weeks back about the AWFUL customer service..............................

Thought, hmmm, my service should have turned off by now................got my AmEx bill today................$151 to Sirius!

FLAMING MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, as most of you know, I was hung up on, and twice given new numbers to call! UGH!!!

So, if you need some BILLING help for Sirius, here's the scoop! Call Natasha at 866-527-6040 extension 2215222. Tell her Susan sent you!

But, the good news is that I had my account pulled up, and I could see the credit immediately.

And, they wanted to pro-rate my refund...............NO WAY! Give me back my 46 cents! UN-BE-LIEVABLE!!!!

And I will check my Am Ex this week to make sure.................

XM did the same thing to me when my year ran out. But I managed to get in on a 1/2 price sale so I kept the service.

Sirius did the same thing to me!

I'd purchased an Xact for my DH last year for Christmas with a year's service. I noticed a pre auth on my Visa two weeks ago for it-sent them an email about it-as I had NOT asked for automatic renewal. Of course, no reply on it.

I looked at my online statement yesterday and found they'd charged me for another year. The plan was to switch over to month to month out of DH's checking account (since I bought an iPod for him this year, he already got a present!). I'm a bit annoyed.

Thanks for the heads up on who to call!

Charade, XM didn't do that to me-then again, my first year came free with the car, but they did have CC info.

Natasha did offer to do the billing by invoice, I would NOT give them access to any credit card info or checking account for auto draft, I would buy enough gift cards for the service next time.

If you give them your CC information you are agreeing to renewing your subscription. We are a two sub household and it has always worked out perfectly (DH pays full sub I and I pay half sub).

I only have one radio (built into my Chevy) I told them I got a "WINBACK" promo for $77 in the mail. I did. I *really* did!!
