We're going to Universal for the first time this year. My DD doesn't want to give up Seaworld but we really only have 3 days we can visit those parks (and Seaworld is really 2 days, since you get the 2nd day free). Having said that, I'd hate to do 1 day at Universal and realize we hadn't done what we wanted to because of crowds. We'd only be going to those parks next week, normally a slower time at WDW, but it is also mardi gras week this year. So I don't really know what to expect, especially at Universal.

Harry Potter is the big draw for both of us - I'd gladly go there both days if we have to.

What would you do? :confused3

Of the two parks - Sea World and Universal, Sea World is a one day park for us. I know you get the 2nd day free, but we have never had anything left that we wanted to go back the 2nd day for. If I had 3 days for those parks, I would do 1 day at Sea World, and 2 at Universal and Islands of Adventure. If money is an issue, save Sea World for another trip, and do the whole time at Universal. I don't think the price difference between a Universal 2 or 3 day ticket is that much.

:rotfl: We've always done the 2nd day at SW - we love it. But we've never been to Universal so with Harry Potter now open, we're doing it this year. Should I add that it will just be me and DD11 (my future dolphin trainer)?

I had never even considered doing 3 days at Universal - we also have 5 day ph with wpf&m which we'll use the following week. Money isn't really an issue, but I don't want to pay for something and then rather be somewhere else.

You will need two full days at Universal unless you want to skip a lot of the attractions. If you're going for the first time, you should take your time and see everything instead of trying to rush around. SeaWorld has gotten to be a two day park to see everything but since you only have three days total, I would spend the majority of time at Universal.

I think I'm going to spring for the 2 day. I so wish I could just add a day when we're there - I'm disney-spoiled. :surfweb:

You can add on another day to your base tickets before you leave the park that day. Just go to Guest Services before you leave whichever park and tell them you want to add another day. It's no problem.

:woohoo: that's what we're going to do - just bought our 1 day -2 park pass and we'll decide there whether we'll do the 2nd day or go to Seaworld for the other days.

Thanks so much :goodvibes
