For all of those out there that are hoping and praying for codes dont stop trying. I've called and called, and tonight at 8:30 I got a wonderful CM who was able to apply 30% off to my WL reservation!

We are going Aug 18-25th
WL Woods View $1378.16!

Okay-sorry in advance but rather new here........how does that work exactly? Probably too late for us anyway, we leave in three weeks. Do you just call and ask and if so, what do you say?? What if the trip is already paid in full? We found this board too late, I think! My husband would call this our "education" trip. We are learning after the fact the things we should have done different. Hopefully we'll be able to go again in a few years and I can save some cash next time, if I can't do it this time. TIA

1st off Welcome to the Disboards!

2nd. Yes, you can call and try to have a discount applied to your room. Simply call Disney Central Reservations (1-877-939-3732) and ask if there are any discount codes associated with your name. If there are and they fall under the dates of your vacation you can have then try to apply the discount. If the trip is paid in full then they will simply refund you the difference to your credit card. Its always worth a shot to call and ask. We've all been on "education" trips. We traveled to WDW for 13 years before we realized we could get any discounts! Since then we have been fortunate enough to get discounts on nearly every trip we've made. Good luck!

TinkerBelle, put a lime green mickey head tag on your carry around. I'll be there too and maybe we can see each other, wave, and rejoice in the excellent deal we found because of the DIS.

Mine will be a black mesh backpack with the Home Depot Lime Green Mickey Head. :thumbsup2

If you are able to get the discount, and if you have a package booked, since you are under the 45 day mark, they will charge you a $50 fee to make changes, but if you are able to get the discount it will more than cover that fee-- and be worth it! keep in mind they might not have the resort you have picked out available so if you want the discount you might have to switch resorts... another thing to think of is you might be able to upgrade using the dsicount, say you are staying in moderate right now for $1000, and a deluxe is $1500-- if you can get the code you might get the deluxe for $1000 thus not saving you any $ but you get much nicer digs! Just a thought for ya!

If you have a room only booking I am not sure if the same would apply... I haven't booked a room only in a long time!

i am being persistent, but still have no code.
i'm glad to hear you have gotten one

I, too, have been calling every day, but no luck yet. The guy I had today wasn't very happy to look around for me. Maybe they are getting lots of people calling and begging! LOL

Tomorrow I will call again and see if I get a more willing CM to help find me a code :)
