I am so mad
I picked Jet Blue for non stop flights and the best leaving/arriving times. We've never flown them and were so excited to have tv's and try something new (always fly southwest), anyway they left a message and changed our flight times big time....Instead of leaving at 8 am they have us at 6pm, totally ruining our whole night. On the way back we had 11 am, now 9pm plus we have a 3 hour ride from the airport. These times are not acceptable. What happens now..am I stuck.. can I get my money back and fly southwest???? I just can't believe this

What? You mean an airline other than Airtran actually changes flights?
...JetBlue is usually great to work with, but again they are under no obligation to change anything, although they most likely will.
While JetBlue's website may not have indicated so at the time the OP made the purchase (she doesn't say when that was done), they now DO state on the 'choose your seat' page that they don't guarantee you'll get those seats.
. OP - could you possibly leave the night before? JetBlue may well allow you to change to that 6 PM flight the day before your intended departure at no cost. Sure, it will still get you to Long Beach late in the evening (sort of - remember, with the time change, it'll really only be 9 PM there when you land, and yes, I realize your body clocks won't agree), giving you an ENTIRE extra day at your destination.
I don't know. Who loves Jet Blue...Was this just a fluke thing????
