FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! We're expected to get 3-6" of snow today. And I thought I'd never seen snow again. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Too bad the family room is a disaster area though. I'd love to go home and cuddle up by the fire and watch the snow falling.

We are suppose to get a foot of snow tomorrow!!!:thumbsup2 I hope they close DD's schools however I doubt they will.

We'e expecting several inches of snow here also. The woods are a beautiful site from our cozy our sun room! Have no clue why they sent the kids to school today, to end up calling for an early dismissal. :p

Ya'll are lucky we have ice and rain. Downed powerlines and generally yuckiness. The schools are all closed in the area many of the businesses and our courthouse is even closed I can see as I look out the window from WORK! Why oh why can't I be home?

Ditto! Luckily the roads have been cooperating (only wet w/ slick spots on bridges & overpasses), but I'm afraid of what will happen tonight when traffic slows and temps drop to mid-20s.

We got about 4 inches last night and are supposed to get more, plus ice and sleet and whatnot mixed in. It's been sleeting pretty much all afternoon, and I have the joy of what'll probably turn into a 2-hour commute home. My employer's offered to get hotel rooms across the street tonight for whoever wants them, but I have a diabetic cat I need to get home to.

Us, too. I actually hope they don't close school tomorrow. DDs had Friday and Monday off, and I hate making up those snow days.

we are in the 10 to 15 range for tomorrow.......DID I mention that I hate snow....I really do.......Maine has had enough and I am done for the winter.....let her melt......ROFL

Be careful! DH is home and said it is not too bad. (West port area) Both kids are hoping for another day off.

We've been out playing in the whole 3 inches of snow all day:rotfl: This is the first year DS really understands what snow is and in this area, we will take all we can get!

8-12" here by the time things are done. Ehhhh...just another snow storm.

Honestly, no one in this area even blinks. It's amazing (coming from an area that people freak out over the threat of 2"!)

We were supposed to get 4 to 8 inches of snow, but we got an inch or so and then tons of ice. It's still raining ice now. I really hope our power doesn't go out.

Here in MA we are getting another foot!! BOOO! It sucks we might be teaching right into July. It's crazy. The head of schools is refusing to sign any waivers for the 180 day mark.

I am so damned jealous of anyone who has so little of it that they get excited when the snow falls.

Even the weather guy said, "I know you all have had it up to here with snow...who isn't...but there will be more." He even did the "up to here" thing with his hand. And he wasn't all chipper like TV people are. He was just plain old sick of it, too.

It's so cold here. And grey. And the snow just won't stop. Depressing as crap.

But, enjoy! I'm happy that you all are happy!

Those storms are the worst! I can deal with the snow but ice is just awful.

We're due for snow tonight into tomorrow and ending with ice.

Yeah, it wasn't quite as bad as I thought, but 44 is an absolute mess and they've done nothing to the streets downtown at all! Most all of 44 is snow-covered, so people were kind of guessing where the lanes were, and of course some were flying along and some were going 10 mph. Snow driving is always interesting around here! :sad2:

Snow driving is very interesting here too. I'm more the one who'll do the 10-25MPH than the flying. I feel that if you don't like my speed, then there's a whole other lane over there.... and don't get mad if I laugh at you in the ditch or hugging a tree because you were going too fast for the conditions....

I hope all those getting lots of ice get thru it ok.

I want some snow.:guilty: Two "School's-closed" days worth. Then I'll be happy and will be grateful for :beach:
