I totally understand how you feel! I started a new job on Nov 8 after working for my previous company for 8 years. It was very nerve racking! (Unfortunately, my office closed so, I had to find a new job.)
It will be okay, and don't worry that you don't know it all the 1st day...make sure to give yourself some to adjust!
It's going to be an Administrative Assistant job at the same college I currently work for. Right now (for the next 3 days lol) I'm a receptionist (among many other things), so this IS a promotion, which is cool. I'll be jumping from the "Administration" side to the "Academic" side, so I think that'll be nice.
I have a hard time with 'change'. I love my current co-workers, but I have to move on. The hours will be the exact same, but I'll be in a different building with all new people. An upside is that I'll have my own office (!!!). Right now, I sit in the middle of a big open lobby, so it'll be nice to have a little more privacy. I'll actually to be able to (gasp) go to the bathroom without asking a student to watch the front door/phone for a minute. So liberating.
