Well I needed to go to the pool store to get some chlorine and stuff for my pool. I have been avoiding going because they are working on the highway where the store is and the road is a mess.
Dear dh says get off the computer and go to the pool store today before the pool turns green. So, he goes off to work and I go off to the pool store.
On the way back this lady pulls right out in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes. I swear my minivan's bumper was one inch away form her car by the time I got stopped! I am so glad that I had jammed the two jugs of liquid chlorine into a box! That box went sliding around the back of the van and everything that was in the back seat ended up flying into the front of the minivan and a water bottle ended up under the gas pedal.
The lady just waved at me and then kept on going. I was shaking and ready to cry! I got all the stuff out from under my feet and made it home in one piece.
All I could think was how much better off i would have been if I had just stayed home and played VMK!
Oh and to top it all off my sprained back that was starting to feel better is now starting to hurt again! gr owl
The moral of this story is that VMK is safer than the real world. (unless your name has bell in it and your legs get run over by someone with tink in their name) ok i think I am getting my sense of humor back.........
