We were at Beach Club 6/3-6/9 and there weren't any then. My kids were very sad.

We just returned on Friday and there were no bedtime stories! I called the front desk to inquire and she said they were no longer offering them, no other information was given.

Our kids LOVED the bedtime story and it was a nice quiet time every night that we looked forward to. I don't understand why they would discontinue this...there were plenty of channels with absolutely nothing on, so to add them to a different station seems like it would be fairly easy. Oh well, don't know why they did it, but it's done. Maybe they will bring them back??

Yes, we found out they had been cancelled a few weeks ago while there.
DS was so disappointed!

Our wake up call had Stitch AND Mickey, not just Stitch.

The other thing was that in the past few trips we've taken they had the really old classic cartoons that played continuously on one of the high channels.

You know, like the ones they show in the lobby?

Well they were gone too!

We had them in Oct. at WL, and in Dec. at GF, but did not have them a few weeks ago at POFQ.

I just assumed all the resorts had them, maybe it was just the deluxes??

The OP of this thread was in February. Nobody can confirm the bedtimes stories since then.

When they do away with little features like these at the resorts, what's the purpose in staying at them? To ride a smelly bus or what?

Little extras like these are what make the Disney Resorts different from any other well-themed hotels IMO. Added somethings like the shows, the calls and so on make a Disney resort Disney. Otherwise, why pay extra for a run of the mill room with a few decorations?

I actually stayed in several as we had several last minute changes. We stayed in AS Music one night, but I don't remember checking. We had a one bedroom at Boardwalk and Beach Club in the DVC parts, and a studio at Beach Club. I can say with certainity that BW and BC have the cartoons. I will check with my mom as we also had the wake up call about those.
