OMG, DD got a Tattoo !!

that is a great attitude to have Mand, when I got Mickey on my shoulder I was nineteen, and was bricking myself for my dad to find out, we both worked at the same place at the time, so it was obvious that he would get to hear, I went out on the shopfloor pulled him in a welding booth and said I have something to show you, his reaction was "ohhh Mickey, I like the fireworks around him", it was a huge relief, I suppose he couldn't kick my bottom at work LOL

I think it is a really unique idea to have the DQ logo as a tattoo and it looks really good.

I have got 3 tattoos, a rose on my right shoulder blade, a unicorn on my left shoulder blade and a sun/moon design on the top of my right arm. I hate them all and would love them removed. My mum told me that she wouldn't let me back in the house if I got a tattoo and at age 18 that was it; red rag to a bull :rotfl:

Now I wish I'd listened to my mum but don't tell her that :lmao:

I tried to do a picture of mine but it was huge!, I will try again!
I was 37 by the time I got mines, I love it, so does everbody, esp mum and hubby, and more important, me! I love it!

I give up! It comes out huge!
But I do LOVE the tattoo!! Your daughters that is! very subtle an diff, I hate all those things everybody has!

mine is quite faded now, so no piccies, challenge for the GGG people, catch it if you can x

I think it looks brilliant Mand,:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I dont have any...yet, but Vic has 2 on her back, a two line quote from a film and a star. Its great if your stood behind her in a queue as you have something to read;)

I want to like tattoos, I really do, but I just don't. I don't mind them on other people, but it's not for me.

Younger dd had one across the small of her back a few years ago. For around a year beforehand, she kept asking me what I thought of the idea and I always gave her the same answer - her body; her decision.

I think the DisneyQuest logo is a fantastic idea - that's what I'll get if I ever change my mind! :rotfl:

I like that but :thumbsup2 i'm not brave enough to have one done myself ;)

I like it. I have Mickey Mouse on the top of my arm.

My DD has not got any tattoo's yet, but she has a few face, ear and belly piercings.

That looks great!!

Looks fab.

I've got a Tinkerbell one. I will find a photo and post it later:thumbsup2

It looks fab Mandy, clever idea to have the Disney Quest Logo.

Part of me likes them and part of me doesn't, as I wonder will I still like it at 70?!?!

I'd be too scared to get one though.

Sorry Tatoos are not for me
DS has 2 and is getting another one shortly so he says
my middle DS has one designed for his whole back got a quote for €4000

That looks great. I would like to get one done but I know I will get bored of it, so it will be pointless.

It is a great tatoo. :)

I have never wanted one.

Very cool Mandy! I am trying to think of the best place for a tat, a while ago I was going ot have Stitch on my tummy, but then I got pregnant and I am glad I didn't! I can't imagine having a stretched Stitch now! ha ha!

I would love to just have something simple Mickey related on my back. Maybe two big Mickey heads and two small ones to represent our little family?

I like that idea :thumbsup2 ,or maybe 1 big,1 medium + 2 small.x.
Yes very good! I am a wuss though so I would have to work myself up to it!

Does anyone know if the pain is gone as soon as it's done? Or dos it linger - as another poster said I have had two kids but a am a wuss when it comes to these! :lmao:

Everyone will have a different story about 'the pain'-But i had my first when i was 16 on my top left arm(i know i was underage-another story)-i was in a state+kept making him stop as it hurt so much. But after i had calmed down and he continued-i got used to it,i ended up loving the 'nice pain feeling' you get when having one.I then went on to have more. One of the ones i have is Thumper on my back shoulder and that one did tingle more than my others.
As for pain once it's done,it's more like a mild burning sensation. As i said everyone is different+everyone tolerates pain in different ways.I have no regrets about my tats(although i did have when i was 21-i had to get an ex's name covered-big mistake).I love them.x.
