OMG booked a flight today for tomorrow!!!!!

Saw on a non-Disney board that this deal was for JetBlue out of JFK only for the first 10 cities that had service--a 10 year anniversary special. The catch was $10 fares but only for the 2 days. So basically, flying down one day & flying back the next. But people on that board reported with fees and taxes that the RT ticket was $41.40 or something close. $41.40 for a RT ticket from NYC to MCO. Wow! Now if my little airport (SDF) did something like this, I'd be all over this in a heartbeat.

Good for you PEANUT1! Have a great getaway trip!:cool2:

We just stayed at the Holiday Inn on Hotel Plaza Blvd. near Downtown Disney for $91 per night (including tax) for the Sunday we arrived in Orlando and week later on Monday when we checked out of BLT. We did make the reservations in advance.

Good luck. Check every website you can think of, Hotels.com, expedia.com, travelocity, priceline. Hey why not call Disney and see if they have any discounted rooms. Here's some pixiedust to help you get the resort you want. pixiedust:

Well we are home and it was amazing!!! For those of you who were wondering how we found out about this deal, my husband signs up for slickdeals..there is a website slickdeals.com and they have all sorts of crazy deals.

The flight down was great and we even got upgraded. We didn't have seats together and so they switched us to the front of the plane which has the larger leg room seats..awesome. We love flying Jet Blue too bc they have the tv's on the headrests with direct tv.

We got to Orlando at 845 and headed to our hotel. We stayed at Caribe Royal. My husband got a price of 84$ a night (103 total with taxes) and it was really nice...much nicer than Pop which was the same price. We really liked it and may stay again when we come back in December bc we have 2 nights where we need a room after we stay at BLT for 5 nights.

We headed right to MK and spent the day there til about 7pm..we couldn't hang anymore bc we were beat..we were up since 3am. (well actually hubby and I never even went to bed).

We got take out for dinner and went to bed..woke up bright and early and went to Epcot. We spent the day at Epcot and saw the beautiful flowers at the Flower and Garden festival and left at around 3pm to head to the airport.

Again our seats were not together on the plane but the flight was completely full so the people at jetblue asked someone to move and they agreed so we could be together.

All in all..a great trip. The kids were amazingly good and we had a great time..my friends and family think we are crazy.

Crazy fun maybe!!! How great to just be so spontaneous. Sounds like you had a marvelous time. I'm so happy for you (and jealous).

Wow, can't think of a better way to spend an unplanned day...glad you had a good time!!

I couldn't take advantage of this deal due to a work-related event, but I could have booked a RT ticket from Vermont to MCO for $40 plus tax. Unfortunately, the schedule was such that I would have had only 18 hours on the ground!

So let's see...@ $41pp RT air x 4...@ $103 hotel...park passes free due to AP's = @ $267 + food cost etc.

Not bad!! :thumbsup2

Crazy like the rest of us! We'd do that in a heartbeat too. Unfortunately airfare from here has never ever ever ever ever in over 20 years been less than $200. Ever. You people who live near larger airports have no idea how good you have it! :thumbsup2
