OMG booked a flight today for tomorrow!!!!!

So my husband called this morning and said that Jet Blue had anniversary special and tickets to Orlando were $10 each way so we are going tomorrow morning at 615 and return Wed at 7pm...CRAZY!!!

So we can't use DVC points bc we have a trip booked in December and have only 5 points left. I only needed 10 points for a room (I have 5) so I was going to cancel a day off our Dec trip and pay cash for a night but they said I can't use my Dec points bc they were banked or borrowed or something...whatever. So now we are looking for somewhere cheap to stay...I can't believe this..so crazy. We have annual passes so it seemed like a good idea. My husband is nuts!

On this short notice, I'd be inclined to just forget about DVC and call the main Disney resorts line and see what they have; maybe there's even an AP rate you can grab.

Here's a couple offsite thoughts too:
For $104 you can stay at the Royal Plaza (Mousesavers), the Doubletree at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd (Downtown Disney) is $99. Last minute can have some benefits --if a property isn't sold out, you can get some pretty good rates.

Of course, for anything offsite, you'll likely need a car as well.

thanks all for the advice and well wishes. We are taking our 2 little girls ages 3 and 6..we were just there in January but they are going to FREAK out when we tell them in the morning. Hubby got Caribe Royal for 84$...it looks really nice. We'll see. I still can't believe I am doing this..

I couldn't believe those flight prices, I tried to just take a peak at them, and the systems were all done! Jet blue computers crashed!!! what a great price!
