we are having 2 different flavours for our cake this may, I assumed this was normal and nothing was mentioned by our Planner when I requested it, I just needed to clarify which would be the top layer and the bottom layer, as we are having yellow cake/ white chocolate and chocolate cake/chocolate and we don't want the cake that is cut and served at the reception to be the chocolate one as our little flower girls would probably get covered in chocolate before the photos are all taken!!

That's good news, I've been praying for almond cake with amaretto, and chocolate cake with peanut butter since I started this wedding planning lark!
Still got til next October to go though, so here's hoping this will still be the case then!

Thank you, although I doubt I will now reach my goal now it's only 2 weeks until we hit Orlando, but I can now get in the dress I stupidly got in a size uk 14 ( us 12) over a year ago, so I'm already doing the happy dance!!

I just need to be careful the first few days of the vacation, before the wedding as I can put weight on just from LOOKING at food ( so no breakfast buffets for me until May 9th! )

Ok so what options did we get before the new ones...Do you guys mean new designs and flavors or just designs......I guess I never really looked into it because I loved the basic boardwalk escape cake...I just had to pay a 5 dollar upgrade for the flavor of my cake.

SO will they offer more designs without having to pay an upgrade?

That's what my WP says... Escape Brides will have 4 - 5 cakes to choose from, varying in styles. The flavors will still be the same, I believe. I think they're offering them so Escape Brides feel a bit better about the choices they have. I hope they're cute! Whatever the styles will be, i think I'm giong to keep what I wanted all along. White fondant with pink ribbon around the two bases and flowers matching my bouquet on top.

my daughter is getting married this sept, escape also. She was sent the photos of the 5 different cakes. They are really cute, but I don't know how to post pictures, but if you are really interested to see them I will try to get my daughter to do them. Please let me know

My daughter tried to see if she could post the pictures, but all she can do is forward in an email, so if you want to PM me your email address I will have her send it to you. She just got this document via email a few days ago.

I notice that in the cake filling choices that amaretto, baileys or peanut butter aren't listed, all of which we were considering as they were our favourite flavours we've heard mention of on the boards - does anyone know if you can pay an upgrade for these flavours?

Also, it says choose 1 cake flavour and 1 filling flavour, can you upgrade to have each layer different?

It says "Please select one cake flavor and one cake filling choice" - maybe someone will be able to tell us if that's per layer or for the whole cake. Also, it'd be interesting to know if you can pick other flavors.

Here's what the cakes look like with the topper on them (you will get the topper with any cake you choose, but you don't have to have it on the cake if you don't want.
