OMG-Another Shooting

Prince George's County, Elementary School....they are not able to say at this point if it's related. Saw this on CNN a few min ago.....no word on anything else or the victim yet.

This is out of control.

I'm watchin FOX news right now. They're saying that someone called in and reported hearing a shot. The police got there right away and no one has been shot so far.

I think it will take a little while before we hear anything definite.

I saw the report on CNN the channel, NOT the website and it was just on the FOX station locally here in NY as well.

Trust me, I didn't post this without making sure I was hearing things correctly first.

someone reported hearing gunshots might have been some other noise
because I don't think there is anyone shot??

I just saw on tv (CNN) that they contacted the principal of the school and no shots were fired on the grounds of the school and no one there was shot. I guess they will start checking out the rest of the area now.

sydally9367, no one thinks you would post something without making sure you were hearing it correctly first. The problem is that the news people want to be the first ones with the story so badly that they'll report anything they hear just to get it on the news and then they go back and check their info. The same thing happened to me last night... they had a breaking news report about a shooting, I posted it, and then it turned out to be not related.

I'm glad no one was shot at the school. I hope it doesn't turn out that someone in the neighborhood was shot.
