This is OT but I am so excited right now. I got great floor seats right on the catwalk, Allstate Arena.. I can't wait.

Anyone else a fan or going to a show? Lots of shows when on sale today.

I am going to bust..

I'm sick over this, I totally forgot that today was the day they went on sale. Now all I can get are nosebleed seats on the added Sat. date in Chicago (we originally wanted MN). Probably still going to take them, but ouch!

Dumb me! Wish I knew if there were any possiblilities of them adding more dates...

I'm going to have to, because Ebay prices would equal most of a disney trip for us! So glad DS is a metalhead like us, but, ouch, the $$$$!~!!!!

Have fun for all of us!

My DS is a HUGE AC/DC fan. He's only 9 years old though and I don't think it would be appropriate to take him to a concert of that nature. He listens to the music all the time and they are his favorite band. We'd have to drive 7 hours to see them IF we took him.

Would you take a 9 year old to an AC/DC concert?

We went to an AC/DC show about 6 months ago in Ft Myers, FL. It was awesome. They really put on a great show. Hope you enjoy!!

Heheheheheee, THey are popular, but pretty simple also.

For those about to rock!!!!! We'll keep our songs to three chords for you!!!!

Just a little ribbing.

I got tickets on Friday. Had to pay $175 a piece off of ebay because the devil, aka Ticketmaster, put them on sale an hour ahead of schedule and they sold out.

I would. I wouldn't take him to a Motley Crue concert, but AC/DC isn't known for their non-stop profanity or images of naked girls, ala the Crue.

Yes I would take a nine year old. They put on a great show but are VERY loud not vulgar at all. Bring him some ear plugs....especially for the end..LLOOUUDD booms! At least it's always been that way for me at ac/dc shows. Was going toget tickets for the four of us ( i have a 16 year old and an 11 year old) but it would have been $400.00 for MSG. I just got Metallica tickets last week, so I'm passing on ac/dc. Wish i would have known about ac/dc first.

My 14 year old would love to go. He used to sing Sandman when he was 5. He was in Catholic Kindergarten- and the teacher looked like this:eek: when my cute little boy in a tie was singing Sandman.
I thought it was :rotfl2:
Enjoy the show. I bet it'll be GREAT!
