OMG!! 25 minutes on hold with Home Depot!!!!

And I REFUSE to hang up!!! Trying to get ahold of the window treatment dept regarding roman shades we ordered on Sunday.

This is ridiculous!!! I think it bothers me even more now that I am a receptionist at our county road commission and I NEVER leave people on hold for a long period of time.

Someone did come back about 5 minutes in and said they would "try again"...but that was it! You know someone there has to see a call on hold!!!!

I don't really have much anything else to do so it doesn't bother me having the phone on my ear!! LOL!!...Although, I am getting madder by the second and will definitely say something.

32 minutes now!!!!....(I have a timer on my phone)....hopefully my battery won't die!!

OMG.....I just called from my cellphone..with my home phone still on my ear ..going on 38 minutes!!!....The girl seemed apologetic...and said to hold on a minute....after about 4 they hung up on my cellphone call....and my home phone is still holding!!!!

The Home Depot, you can do it in spite of our lack of help

Heheh... these places, Home Depot, Lowes, etc., are specifically intended to provide discounted products for maintaining and improving your home. If you want superior service, a step up from Home Depot is Expo Design Center, which is owned by the same company. They provide moderately more attentive and helpful customer service, at a moderately more expensive price.

If you really want great customer service, the discount chains aren't the best place to look for it.

Well, it depends. If the choice is paying $25 for something at Home Depot, versus paying $45 to get it from a place that won't make me wait as long, and provide me better service, well, it depends on what it is, how much I need it, and how busy I am.
