Awesome Job to all the runners this weekend!

I completed my first 10K Saturday!!!! I finished in 1:16:56, giving me a pace of 12:25/m! I ran a 1 min run/1 min walk. I am VERY VERY pleased with my results!

I did the Veterans Day 10K in DC as well yesterday. It was my first 10k and I had a time of 60.02. Not too bad!

My goal time ws 90 minutes. I finished in 92:45 - 5th from last! I wasn't even at mile 2 before the leaders were headed back to the finish. I will do this run again next year. It was a beautiful course and run really well.

BTW, I would advise NOT going to the Natural History museum afterwards. My legs were hurting Sunday night.

Mayor Fenti is apparently a runner. Finished in 71st. Awesome job. I wonder if his security had to run with him? lol

I'm not sure I like the course--it was nice and flat, but there were too many places where I felt really bunched in, especially when we were in the park. I can't believe the winner finished in under 30 minutes!

I ran in a pack of 1 so I didn't notice bunching! lol
