Omaha Steaks

Do any of you order from Omaha Steaks?? My father and sister both have, and they said the meats were really good quality. My stove doesn't have an actual broiler, so I'm wondering if they'd cook properly on a George Foreman grill?? I don't have one yet, but I've been wanting one for a long time now and this would be a good reason to go buy one.

Tell me your experiences with Omaha Steaks and/or with the George Foreman grill! Thanks!

P.S. We just placed our first order with them. It was a "special"; 6 top sirloins, 6 steak burgers, a set of knives and a cutting board, all for $28. I figured at that price it's worth a try.

We LOVE the meat from Omaha steak Co.
The only thing we have cooked on the George Foreman grill (from Omaha steak) were the burgers and they turned out great.

The Company is good to deal with - I had ordered from them back in August and during the shipping, the "Blackout of 2003" occurred and it delayed the shipping and the meat sat at the UPS station for awhile. We had to throw all of the meat away (since it had thawed out) and we had absolutely no problem getting them to replace it (they even sent another FREE steak knife set).

The only bad thing is they are very expensive, so I only order the specials (when they give free "extras" (burgers, steak knives, etc....)

Sorry I cannot offer you any information on Omaha Steaks. I hear about them all of the time on Regis and Kelly, they offer $500 gift certificates to an audience member. I would like to know as well about them.

I've been ordering OS for years for gifts for people and they all love them and the cheesecakes!
DH orders the vintage steaks only, he says they are the best and only ones he enjoys eating, they are about $14 a steak a nice treat once in a while for he and DS!

I buy from them here at some of their local retail stores here, we have several close by. I will only usually buy what is 'on sale', half off, and even then it is high priced, but also, the quality is excellent.

I buy from them also.... usually the 'specials'. The quality is outstanding, I've only had issues with a couple of things. I've been buying from them for at least 15 years or so.

When we were in Omaha last summer for niece's wedding, we ordered some Omaha steaks for BIL on other side of family left at home who took care of our animals AND we ordered some filet mignon wrapped in bacon for ourselves which came with some free hamburgers. - DEE-LICIOUS!!
