Ok, I admit it. My experience with cameras is mostly in the context of watching polaroid film develop. (Remember the cartridges?) We've had an inexpensive digital camera but it seems to take forever between when we say 'cheese' and when the camera flashes. It can go through a couple of batches of batteries in an afternoon.
So, as we are looking at our first trip to Disney, we need to join the real world with cameras. The Olympus 710 has caught our eye. It is small and waterproof. (Small as it can fit in a pocket and avoid the 'bag' lines, waterproof as we can use it when we might be gatting splashed) But, as for the actual pictures, I know little more than what is advertised.
So, can anyone provide me any guidance here? Is this a decent camera? Are there others that you'd recommend?
Thanks a bunch.
