Olympics Coverage Question

I usually watch the Olympics coverage on NBC at 8:00 PM. I remember during the Sydney Olympics that there were quite a few stories regarding Sydney and Australia that showed off the country and it's people. I have yet to see anything like that from Greece. Have I just been missing this pieces or are they not being produced?

I was really looking forward to seeing ancient Greece and the statues, monuments, etc.

That is so intertesting. Just 30 mins I asked a co-worker if I missed that as well. Certainly does not sound very prominent as before Olympics.
Also, have I missed the catch tune as well? Remember Bar - ce - lona (imagine me singing )

The thing that I've noticed is missing is the nightly recaps of what happened the day before. In Sydney, the video was set to the tune of U2's "Beautiful Day."

I know MSNBC does a Olympiv update from 4 pm to 5 pm every afternoon and they have shown some of the sites and around Athens.
