What is the food like at Olivia's? We've never eaten there, but just made a 2pm ADR. Any suggestions about menu items to try? Thanks.

I can only comment on breakfast, it was fantastic! We stayed at OKW a few years ago and tried to get in for dinner a few nights but it was booked up, small place so it fills quickly

The food at Olivia's is good. Its more of a family restaurant and you'll find some nice comfort food kind of things there. Usually a quiet place. Check the reviews and a link to the menu here on the DIS.

We dined @ Olivia's when staying @ OKW and it was really good. I had a pasta dish with shrimp and sauce and it was one of my fav's for out 2 week trip. There bread pudding was really good too. Dont remember what kids and DH had but they did enjoy it. It is very homey, laid back kind of place.

NOTE: It is somewhat inconvenient to drive or take a bus to OKW.
The food uniqueness used to be lovely, but DDP has forced the eatery
to slip greatly in the unique department. Now, although pleasant
surroundings, the food is only above average for lunch and dinner,
but breakfast is quite good.

Olivias is great.......wonderful theming, inside and outside seating, very comfortable as we remember the 5 or 6 times we dined there..........The food was all good to excellent, especailly breakfast.

Getting there is no problem, better bus service then most resorts. The fact that is is a bit away from the ruching crowds, adds to its appeal. It fun just to walk around after your meal and enjoy the themeing and landscaping of the grounds.........

While we were touring the resorts last December to see the holiday decorations we had dinner at Olivia's. The food and service were fine and everyone was friendly, but it wasn't memorable. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, but if I was at OKW I would eat there again.

I really like Olivia's cafe.

I haven't been there in a while though. but the last time I was there I had the shrimp pasta dish and LOOOOOVED it.

And if they still have that pina colada bread... TRY it. it's to die for

We've thought about Olivia's several times when staying at OKW but always ended up going to DTD instead. This is a helpful thread.

We love Olivias and eat dinner here once every year. The lunch menu is mostly sandwiches and salads which I cant comment on. I would go for dinner. They always have a special which is not on the menu. It is sort of like home comfort foods like pp said. We have always had excellent servers as well.

We had 2 good meals there when we went in Dec. We had a blast with the staff for dinner. Our server was great and there was only a few families in there. Several of the people were celebrating birthdays and the staff had them up and the whole place singing to them. We also got to be the family of the day which my kids loved. Breakfast was a little more relaxed but the staff was still really nice and friendly. Food was good nothing amazing but we all enjoyed our meals and did not leave hungry thats for sure!

Now we were staying at OKW so it was convient. While I have no plans to stay at OKW again we may just make the trek over for a meal. We thought the prices were very good. I do remember that our dinner was about the same price as Sci Fi lunch and there my kids shared a meal.

We think that Olivia's is a hidden gem. Some of the foods are unique (Key West themed), as well as yummy!! We've had breakfast and lunch there and enjoyed both. We try to make it there at least once each trip.

Breakfast: We loved the Shrimp and Conch Eggs Benedict, the Breakfast Cuban and the Buttermilk Pancakes.

Lunch: Highlights were the Crab cakes and Mojo shrimp appetizers, Blackened Tuna Sandwich and the Cuban sandwich.

Dessert: fabulous Key Lime Pie!!

Enjoy!! :)

We've enjoyed Olivia's for breakfast and dinner. The food is generally good. I would not go out of my way if I was staying at another resort, but when I'm staying at OKW it makes a great dinner or breakfast stop!

The potatos are very good. I had a steak that was excellent as well. Last time we were there they had a pot roast special that my husband said was very, very good. And he is picky about his pot roast.
