Welcome! So glad you joined in! It is really hard not to go all the time, but we do go fairly frequently-usually at least once a month (except during the summer). We have definitely got our money's worth out of our first year of APs!

Welcome! Glad to have you along for my reliving of our wonderful trip! We ate at 14 TS restaurants and actually took food pics at about 98% of them!

Date: Sunday December 5

I last left off with on the bus on the way to Animal Kingdom after a crazy check-in at Pop Century.

If you followed along in my PTR, you know that we pre-purchased the Photopass CD, and I was determined to get our money's worth! After we got off the bus and headed to the entrance, my crazy picture taking started and we were on the hunt for the first PP photographer! Here are our first few pics. We even started out with a a magic shot!!

..all before we even made it in the park!

Once we made it though the turnstiles (Toby had trouble with the scanner recognizing his fingerprint), we zoomed right past the Oasis and into the park for....you guessed it, more PP pics-this time at the Tree of Life.

The photographer we had here was awesome! He took his time with us and got some really good shots!

I LOVE the Tink shots! It was HYSTERICAL trying to get them taken though! Olivia was so excited to be at Disney, she just couldn't stand still! Bless the photographers heart, he just laughed at Livy and took the time to get the great pics!

After the pics, we headed right for Camp Minnie Mickey because we LOVE the Festival of the Lion King show and never miss it on a trip to AK! We still had some time to kill before the show, so we decided to start on our character meets since they were in their holiday finest!

We started with Chip and Dale. Livy loved them! I was not aware that she knew the difference between them but she informed me that she loved Dale because he had a pink nose!

After Chip and Dale, we moved over to Donald. The line for Donald was a bit long, so we were looking around at everything. The decorations around here were great! I loved how each character had their own tree!

While we were waiting in line, Olivia decided that she wanted to learn how to take pictures too... this was her first shot...

After about 10 minutes it was finally our turn to meet Donald!

By this time it was getting close to the start of FotLK, so we headed over to the theater. As we were walking in a CM saw Olivia's birthday button and took us over and sat us in the FRONT ROW of the lion section!

Have I mentioned that we LOVE this show?! Well,we do! Here are just a few pics....can you guess which ones Olivia took?

Towards the end of the show the CMs in the show come around and pick a few kids from each section to participate in a little parade around the theater....and Olivia got picked! She was SO excited...except that about 30 seconds earlier she told me she had to go potty! She said she could wait and wanted to do the parade, so we let her. She was by far the littlest kid out there, and looked so stinking cute (I am a bit biased of course).

Soon after the show ended and I scooped Livy up and we RAN to the bathroom!

After our quick trip to the RR we headed to finish up our characters. I had sent Toby to get in line for Santa Goofy, since I figured his line would be pretty long. Boy, was I right! Toby was almost there by the time we were done, but the rest of the line stretched to the main path in Camp Minnie Mickey. Goofy was awesome! He was playing around with Olivia and she was cracking up.

After Goofy, we made our way to the long line for Mickey. Mickey was our longest wait, at about 25 minutes.

After Mickey, it was time to move on to his lady, Minnie Mouse of course! Minnie's line was pretty long too, about 15 minutes.

After Minnie was done, we had finished up all the characters and were ready to leave this part of the park. By this time it was getting close to 1:00, so we started heading to Asia since we had a 1:30 ADR, our first meal on the DDxP!

Coming up next: Lunch and the DDxP! Could we handle all the food?

Yeah! Glad you're here! I'm glad we got the building and floor we wanted too! It ended up having good and bad points to it (I will get to that in another post). We love AK too! We never seem to spend enough time there though, we always leave saying we wish we would have done something(s).

Hi Guys! I just wanted to say sorry for the HUGE size of all my pics! It would probably take me twice as long update if I had to resize all of my pics (unless there is an easier way to do it on Photobucket that I am unaware of). So, if you wouldn't mind looking at massive pics, I will leave them alone..if not, let me know!

If you click on upload pics there is a small sign towards the bottom that says customize uploads and you pick what size you want the pics to upload as and then it should do it at that size every time. I've had mine set on that for a while now and it's great that I don't have to resize anymore!

Mine is set on the 640 option right now which I think is a good size!!

Great update! I love all of your photopass pics! I wanted to meet the characters at AK in their Christmas clothes, with their cute trees, but of course, my DH didn't want to! I love the picture of Olivia hugging Mickey, I'd frame that if I were you!

Are you serious??? And all this time I've been uploading my pics to be HUGE, just to resize them all individually as I post them into my TR? Ughhhhh!!! Well, at least now I know for my next trip!
