Hi guys! Sorry I have been MIA so long...I feel horrible! Last week was nuts! With my mom being out of town and one of her dogs being super sick (there were a couple of days where my brother and I thought we would have to put her down). I was spending all of my time over there, which meant my poor TR got put on the back burner. Thankfully my mom is back home and the dog seems to be doing better! I am almost done with my next update, and will get it up here while Olivia is napping today!

Yay for a new update! I'd missed your update where Olivia's hair was fixed -- I can't see the pictures but will from home. Too bad that Grand Floridian CM was less than magical with the broken table! Imagine if the rips had torn more than her dress!!

At 4:50 we were called back and seated for our 5:00 ADR. We were put in the back room, and I was not too happy about it. It seemed like it was really out of the way and we would miss all the action. I asked if there was any way we could seated in the main dining room instead and told that it would be at least a 30 minute wait! At this point there were only 3 occupied tables in the main room Oh well, nothing was going to spoil our dinner with Cinderella!

After we were seated we ordered drinks (Diet Coke for me and Coke for Toby and pomegranate lemonade for Olivia). We decided to be nice parents and let Olivia get one of the light up cups. The choices were Tinkerbell and Buzz. Guess what Olivia chose?

Yep, my little Princess picked Buzz Lightyear over Tink!

I hopped up right away to go and get food for Olivia and I. I had been dying to try the strawberry soup, so I of course got a bowl of that! Here is what our plates looked like:

Shortly after we sat down the characters started coming. *I should mention that Olivia was a bit nervous and thought that the step-sisters would rip her dress like the rip Cinderellas in the movie. I kept reassuring her that wouldn't happen and she seemed to believe me.* First up was this "lady"

It was pretty funny! Olivia told her as soon as she walked up to the table that she was NOT going to rip her dress because it was not kind!

I was quite excited about the next character..Prince Charming!

After our (my) PC fix it was time for another one of those nasty step-sisters, Drizella. She was GREAT! She kept trying to get Olivia to smile like her, and Olivia was making the most hysterical faces trying to do it!

Once Drizella had left our table it was time for the lady of the hour, Cinderella!

Of course it wouldn't be a birthday celebration without a cupcake! This was by far the biggest cupcake we got all week! It was huge!

Dinner was really nice. I think next time I would make sure we made it in the main room so we could see all of the royal entrances. All of the food was excellent. The strawberry soup kind of reminded me of the strawberry sauce from the Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe, and was yummy! Olivia ate everything on her plate, plus all the frosting from the cupcake.

Our total came to $83.60 (that was including $6.92 for Olivia's Buzz cup), and we left a $15.00 tip.

I think we will return to this restaurant. I really liked the food and the characters were amazing. The step-sisters and step-mother were really good. They could really tell if a child or the family was ok with them being snotty and bratty, and that was a hoot to watch! They were also really great with the kids who might not "get" that whole act, and were nice and sweet to them. Olivia also got to keep the placemat, which she loves and uses every day. By this time it was 6:00 and we were ready to head back to MK with hopes of seeing MSEP (7:00) and Wishes (8:00).

Up next: Would we run in to more monorail woes? Will we find a spot for the parade? Or, will the freezing temperatures send us back to the hotel early?

Have you guys been there for breakfast? I really had a good time for breakfast when I went with my friends. I couldn't believe how many characters were there too! We had one of the last AM ADRS which was nice because we got to see some of them twice!

I wonder if you stayed for the parade????

OOOH glad you had fun at 1900 PF. The food has gone downhill there over the years but the entertainment is so fun, it's really one of our fav character meals. The Mad Hatter at breakfast makes that meal equally as zanny!

I somehow missed the update about her hair getting fixed. So glad that they fixed it. Really, you pay enough for that, it should last for DAYS if you let it!

We sat in the main dining area, and you really don't miss much with the entrances. They make an announcement, then the character walks through the door. Not much of a show. We did get a good view of a kid getting sick and throwing up all over the table and her princess dress. Felt really bad for her and the family.
I had the strawberry soup, and thought it was pretty good, but very sweet. I think it should be placed with the desserts.

I'm glad you liked 1900 Park Fare, that was our favorite dinner from this trip. I loved the strawberry soup, it was different than I expected but then again I wasn't expecting to like it so I'm glad I tried it

We did 1900 our first trip a few years back and haven't gone back ...mainly because of the food. What all was really good there to you? Your plate didn't look all that full? I wish we had a reason to go back...loved the characters and atmosphere too!

There is your reason right there. The characters and atmosphere. I don't remember what I ate when we went, other than the strawberry soup, but the interaction with the characters made it all worthwhile for me.

I agree.... The food is not the reason why I go to character meals, it's secondary. The interactions and the experiences are what gives me the memories.

looks like a great time at 1900- i love Drizella and Anastasia, i might have to go one time just to see them, plus Will is really into Cinderella right now- i started singing him "sing sweet nightinggale" the other night and he is hooked! He wants to watch that part in the movie over and over! besides i think he likes blondes!

that is so darn cute that Olivia was afraid they would rip her dress like in the movie !!!!

Ok, I have decided that I win the award for worst TR writer EVER!!! I have then next 2 updates all ready to go, but we are having computer issues right now, so they are pretty much stuck in the land of broken computer right now! We do have an older laptop sitting around somewhere, so I might dig it out and just redo my updates and do it on there until the computer is fixed. Let me just repeat: I AM SOOO SORRY! I know it can drive me nuts to get into a TR and the author has to slow down or take a break. I should be able to get an update in either later today or tomorrow depending on when I can dig out the laptop. So, thank you to all of you that have actually hung with me!
