Those are national promotions so you can also get them at your local ones not just Orlando. I read that the company is trying to sell Red Lobster because its not doing well.

I'm not surprised at the Red Lobster. I think they got in trouble when they tried to target areas where seafood is a local specialty. The ones in my area went out of business a while ago and the one near where MIL lives is pretty much always empty.

I am not really that surprised. Olive Garden is really just overpriced pasta. $10-15 for a plate of pasta is ridiculous.

Agreed, the RL here in Atlanta is always PACKED. Sorry to hear this, we always go there for family get togethers. Love those doggoned biscuits!

It's not that they "aren't busy/doing well." It's that they "aren't growing as fast as other Darden restaurants."

I laughed when I heard that a few weeks ago... there comes a time when there is no more growth to be had, particularly in a time when people are trying to make ends meet...

That RL deal actually doesn't seem all that great. Most entrees there come with salad anyway, so really you're just getting a free dessert.

Our Red Lobster currently has a $14.95 thing where you get soup, salad, entree and dessert. Limited entree choices but some good ones. This sounds like basically the same thing.
