I like oldies music...not like ancient, but more like 60s, 70s and 80s...

Am I alone on this one? lol

I like some of the rock from the 60s and 70s and 80s pop/rock is amazing

I like more music from about that time, then the music now...

Beatles were great. Queen were great. Elvis was great. Abba was great. etcetera, etcetera.

Makes me want to listen to the music now...

I love that music

Expessily from the 80's like....
All of Bon Jovi!!!!!
Whip It-devo
Jessies Girl- Rick Springfeild
Tainted Love- Soft Sail
All of Journey
and Pour Some Sugar on Me- Def Leppard

The only new stuff I listen too is Jason Mraz... and I mostly listen to The Who, AC/DC, and pretty much all Classic Rock. I listen to only 80s rap

I like Queen.
And i like a few odd songs that are 'old'.

I'm actually more of a fan of alot earlier stuff, the "ancient" stuff lol.

like 1920s, 30s, 40s & 50s music is my absolute faaaavourite kinda of stuff.
I like Vera Lynn, Artie Shaw, The Andrews Sisters, Helen Forrest, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Benny Goodman, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Perry Como, Nina Simone
I like Elvis ALOT too.

I HATE 80s music with a passion though. Some 70s stuff is alright, but pre-60s is where it's really at!

I like bubblegum pop from the 60s, like The Archies, The (early) Beatles, Hermans Hermits.

I do like some psychadelic rock/rocknroll from the 60s/70s, like Jefferson Airplane(/Jefferson Starship), Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, Crosby/Stills/Nash & Young, SOME of the Beatles more psychadelic stuff.:hippie:

My heart belongs to pre 1960s jazz & big band though!!

metallica is from the 80's, so is the beastie boys, i like them

lol okay i lied ,the Beastie Boys is the only 80s music that I can stand. (but they are 90s/00s as well)
And Journey. lol (because who doesnt love Journey)

I love "Classic Rock"..

Let's make a list of bands and the like, that I can think of off the top of my head..

Led Zeppelin, Queen, AC/DC, Hendrix, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, it goes on...

I like any era of music EXCEPT the 80's. I don't know why, but I can't stand it. There are a few exceptions, but most of it I can't stand.

But I totally agree with you Caitlin, pre-60's is where it's at!! :)

Pink Floyd, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Electric Light Orchestra, The Who, Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple

QUEEN!!!
somehow i have to make this final break through

NOW!

It's good to know us oldies lovers aren't alone! I love um! I was on a feild trip with my grade and I knew more words to the "oldies" than I did the new songs! I felt like a total loser when i wasn't singing along to everything else but i wasn't busting out the lyrics to "Livin on a prayer" !!
