I am trying to identify an old wood box that was just given to me.

It is thin wood that is nailed and glued together

It is maybe 3"x3" and maybe 7" tall. Looks like it is made to be hung on a small nail, as the back extends up higher than the top of the box and has a small hole in it.

It has Snow White painted on top of the lid and 3 of the Dwarfs painted on front.

Inside the lid are the words painted "Snow White says please be tidy"

It has the original price tag on the bottom of the box from Disneyland. Price was $1.00

I would guess that it is late 50's or maybe early 60's.

I can't find anything like it anywhere and would love to know what it was for.

I will try to get pics tonight and post them as soon as I can.

Any help or input where to get help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pics. Anyone have any ideas what this would have been for?
