Old tv show where the dance was "doing the jelly"

My kids used to watch a show when they were little (would've been about 10-12 yrs ago). There was a black man with dredlocks and a girl that i think was maybe mexican. The man played the guitar and told stories and the girl would talk about manners, etc. and did a dance with the kids called "doing the jelly" where they basically free danced. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the show. Does anyone remember this?????

I haven't watch most of teh old tv shows but i think i have watched this one but do not remind its name. it was really cool to watch as my Mom love to watch it when they find some time from her busy schedule.

I liked that show too. Vivian was so adorable!
