I have an old Universal Ticket…I bought it in 2004. It says expires 4 days after first use, but no other expiration details. If I never used it what do you think the chances of me still be able to use it are.
I just don't know if I will have any trouble.

last year i traded in my older park tickets at guest services.
they way they were coded, it didn't work at the entrance..

just exchanged them at gs and it was quick.
i have the ap but my sons had the day tickets...
used those tickets on that trip for them.

I have the old 7 day tickets that UO sold for $99 in a safe place waiting for a LONG October trip. :-)

go directly to guest services to exchange it for the present ticket system.
take care of that when guest service opens 30 minutes prior to park time.

that way, you don't waste time and can get into the park quickly

I had no trouble exchanging old discounted tickets and I added days as well. The old tickets were 4 days and I added one day and they charged me like $11 per ticket including tax so just the current difference between 4 and 5 day tickets.

Good I have hope then. I have old 5 day tickets..that I got from a Mastercard promotion.

as long as there is no expiration on the tickets, you are good.

mine since i had them reissued, has the exp date as 2030.

they also can list exp date, never

when you go to guest services, they no longer have any 5 day tickets in the system.

policy changed after i did my exchange but i think i read a thread where the person stated they got the power pass.

if it makes a difference to you, give guest services a call.
i doubt they will issue 7 single day tickets.
but then, who knows how they are being issued presently?

if you get park to park tickets, that would be great.

i can't speak for the policies that guest services have to abide by but can share that when i did my exchange it was quick and very efficient.

I have a bunch of those $99 tickets too. We used some last summer, 2014, and didn't need to xchange, we could use as is for park to park access. They are 7 day 2 park tickets so good for park to park access. I fully expected to have to xchange but nope :). Bought mine fom AAA in 2009.

mine were bought back in maybe 2004??
$79 and $89 was the going price when i bought them.

i bought the preferred annual pass in 2003 and renew it each year.
i bought the 7 day 2 park tickets for my sons so they could go with me.

mine wouldn't work last january for my son so we had to go to guest services for the exchange.

maybe it had a different coding than the ones you used last summer?

Several years ago I purchased substantially discounted multi-day tickets thru ticketmaster. I was unable to upgrade them at the park gates toward APs as they were deemed 'complimentary' by GS. They would not budge on it. There was no such identification on the tickets & they looked like any other I had seen. Note that I had no issue using them as regular park admittance.

As long as you don't see a use by date, you should be fine as long as you never used any of the days on the tickets. However, if you have any supporting documents (transmittal letter, email or credit card receipt) I'd bring them along jik.

each park has one outside the parks.
for the studios

to the right of the gates before the entrance section.

inside the parks go towards the right after you have entered the parks.

map of inside studios gs.

I have old 14 day tickets that I got for $129. Not sure what they will do with those.

you could send an email with a photocopy of the ticket, both sides, and ask them how they will handle it
include your phone number as TM's have called back at times to help solve your question.

I called them before and asked if I could do this and they told me No, they need the actual ticket. I think it just depends who you get
