My mother has somewhere between 2 and 3 days left on her old Park Hopper (and all her plus options LOL!) However, this was before the finger scan days so will we need to trade this in for new media or will the old media allow the finger scan

I also am afraid this may be demagnitized as we were having problems with it the last time she used it which was over two years ago.....

As long as the ticket has a magnetic strip there is no reason to get a new one unless you are afraid the old one won't scan.

Copy down all the numbers and codes on the back of any and every ticket before they wear off in case the ticket stripe becomes demagnetized.

Mag. stripe tickets are used as-is and the finger scan is recorded for pre-2005 tickets as if they were 2006 tickets. One irregularity, older hopper plus tickets when used at Pleasure Island, need a one time special treatment done at the ticket trolley or at Adventurers Club or Comedy Warehouse before being used at a music club.

I have seen people being rejected (via the finger scanner) and told to go to Customer service to get new cards? Does that happen often?

Thanks. We will give it a try and if it's "broken" go get her a new ticket. The back is very readable, so I have all the info I need.
