OLD THREAD: 2012 Beach and Yacht FAQ, Part 2- May, June and July DON'T POST HERE!

Sheeesh what a night. You would think Debbie had hit here in north east England :sad2:. Torrential downpours the like have never been seen in our small town. It has taken me an hour and 15 minutes to travel 4 miles from the child minder to home - had to do a 10 mile detour and then had to abandon the car (fortunately someone in a very large 4x4 drove us the last half mile). Never been so scared :scared1:. Give me snow anyday.

Hailstones the size of baseballs have been coming down as well. Neighbour has been out and towed my car home. Houses flooded everywhere, local secondary school seems to be a floor short!

Role on August bring on the Yacht Club.

I have been sitting at SAB all day . It has been amazing. I have to leave soon though cause we have fb for TSM and the DH wants to wander the world showcase

I am imagining I'm there with you! (well, not WITH you, but at the BC at the same time! Not a stalker!!! :lmao:) Love the live reports... As jealous as they make me! :rotfl:

Sounds a little out of the ordinary for you. Rain, yes, hail and flooding, no! Hope you have nothing but sunny skies when you get to the colonies.

I have stepped away from these boards for nearly a month, and have no hope of catching up! Just read about the last 15 pages and am so excited about our upcoming trip. These boards just bring so much joy and anticipation to our lives! October can't get here fast enough (but that does mean my baby will be 16 years old! :scared1: ).

Can't wait for all the Halloween celebrations and SAB!

We are also getting excited about our trip! Love reading the reports!

I have a question about the Friendship boats... Do they all travel in the same direction/route? If so, what is it? And does anyone know what time they start for DHS opening?

Question: What time is the Movie on the Beach in October?

Random answer. It changes every month. When I get a chance, I can go back and look at the October schedule from last year, or if you click on the link for the previous October thread, you may be able to find it there.

No luck- went back to the October 2011 thread, and my memory was refreshed- I was never able to get an October activities schedule.

Sept 2011 movie was at 8:30 and Nov 2011 the movie was at 7:00

So sometime between those two times.

From Page 1:

Water launch is available to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Boardwalk, and the Swan and Dolphin Resorts.

Each boat makes the full circuit.
EPCOT Int Gateway -> Boardwalk Inn -> Yacht & Beach Club (shared dock) -> Swan & Dolphin (shared dock) -> Disney Hollywood Studios
Disney Hollywood Studios-> Swan & Dolphin -> Yacht & Beach Club -> Boardwalk Inn -> EPCOT International Gateway

I'm not sure exactly what time the boats start in the morning.

You just wave the key at the sensor on the door and it unlocks the door. After standing there staring at my door for like 10 minutes I accidently let myself in. It was pretty funny

I can do you one better, or maybe I should say, more embarrassing. I kept looking for the slot to put the key in and opened the sensor looking for it. I could have broken the darn thing. Finally figured it out.

I know how you feel about having a soon to be 16 year old! One of the trips we are taking to Disney in the next year is to celebrate my DD's sweet 16 in February. She was given a choice of a big party or a trip to the world and she didn't hesitate with her choice of going to the world. Guess I'm doing a great job at raising another Disney fanatic!!:rotfl:

I love giving the updates. No stalker fears here or else I would be labeled one;) I am constantly on here reading everyone's live reports when I am home.

Hi, i want to email the YC and let them know about our wonderful meal at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, and their amazing server Oscar.Does anyone have an email address that i can use that will get to the restaurant? TIA x

Hi everyone, my family is taking a resort only stay in sept (except for my sons birthday so that day will be in one park) and we choose the bc. This would be the first time we stay here. I have 3 small children who love breakfast (pancakes and eggs) and the only place I keep seeing them is at cap may. Is this the only place where I can find them?

I am not aware of a specific email address for either the YC or the individual restaurants. The only addresses I have are the general Guest Communications email and the snail mail address for the General Manager of the Yacht & Beach Club.

Who can I contact if I have concerns about something during my vacation, I have a great suggestion or better still, to compliment something wonderful about my trip or to recognize a CM who helped make my stay magical?

Comments, Compliments or Complaints:

You can go to City Hall or Guest Relations during your stay

or email wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

or send a letter to:
Walt Disney World Guest Communications
Executive Offices
Post Office Box 10040
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-0040

When you write or email, please include your name, address, phone number and email address.

If it is a comment specific to the Yacht & Beach Club, you can write to the General Manager of the resort (perhaps copy Guest Communications as well):

Mim Flynn, General Manager
Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts
1800 EPCOT Resort Boulevard
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
