OLD THREAD: 2012 Beach and Yacht FAQ, Part 2- May, June and July DON'T POST HERE!

I know this is probably answered somewhere, but where are the garden view club level rooms?

Scattered all over the resort. Anything that looks out and you can see green and not a roof, parking lot or water is a garden view room.

Hi All!
Just got my ME vouchers and tags along with our package papers! So excited! I was very surprised as we leave on July 14th....but HAPPY. Makes the trip seem closer. This one is so special as I am celebrating my 50th with two weeks in WDW/Universal!

I read the post on the Mother - Daughter trip and I never thought to do that. Looks like more planning on the horizon for me. For those that have DD and DS that BOTH love Disney, how did you take one and not the other or did you just do two separate trips :cool1:

We are having a fantastic time at the YC club level :goodvibes We checked in Saturday and will be here until Sunday. Have an absolutely gorgeous view of the gazebo/lake/boardwalk :cloud9::love::cloud9:

Our trip started out a bit rough with confusion in the lounge (food allergy) but has since turned around and is getting better. I made a quick run to whole foods and that also helped so that I have a couple safe options in the room.

DS loved his graduation present of club level and Star Wars weekend. It was crazy crowded at DHS but we managed a great parade spot which helped DS get the photos he wanted with our new camera :thumbsup2 Epcot was beautiful last night with low crowds, MK was rather busy this afternoon so we ducked out and are enjoying the YC ;)

If there are any questions just let me know and I'll try to answer :goodvibes

OK, I am so excited right now. I just booked parasailing :wizard: for my DH for his birthday ( which is during our trip). He is going to be so surprised and so happy . I am not sure I want to go with him ( a bit of a fear of heights) but I think he will be disappointed if I don't, so I booked a tandem flight.

Wow that's exciting! I dont think I'd be that daring  Let us know how it goes!!!

Made some adrs this morning (again) for our trip. Sci-Fi (DS request), Biergarten (DH request), LTT (my request), The Plaza (DS request). I'm going to leave Thursday open as we won't be arriving until later afternoon. Hoping perhaps we can fit in Beaches & Cream!!!!! I'm not sure about one or two more. Any suggestions?????? We'll be at BC for the first half of our trip and GF the second half.

Also, got a new antibiotic in case. I feel much better today! Maybe I'm just getting old. Heck, what am I thinking, I am old!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day Everyone!!!!!!!!!

We saw that on some Disney promo show and now my DD really wants to go. She will be 9 when we go but is very small (like a 6 year old) anyone know if they have age and size limits?

Thanks so much. We are looking forward to going back to the YC. We will be there in 13 days.:woohoo::yay::woohoo:

We are staying CL so not sure if on-line check-in applies?

I emailed IPO and they said that it would actually speed up checkin if I did online before getting there. They said it would still be done upstairs but it would take less time. This was a switch from 10 months ago when they advised against it. So I did. We will see on Sat if it matters.

So here is the scoop on IPO getting my ADRs...

They were able to get everything we wanted, except for Coral Reef (due to the tables not released yet) and Chef's Table at V&A...BUT

Lucky for me being an obsessive planner, when it was 6:45 and I hadn't heard from them I panicked and starting booking all of my high profile ADRs just in case...I GOT THE CHEFS TABLE...

So at 8AM when I got the e-mail from IPO, I was able to go back in and cancel any duplicates that I had.

I cannot wait to hear about the Chef's Table. DH and I want to have dinner there next June for our anniversary since the kids will be old enough to go to the kids club then!

We leave for Disney in 16 hours :banana::banana: I am officially done with school for the summer, I am 90% packed and the house is almost clean. Now if I could just get off the Dis and finish that would be good but I am too excited!

Have a great trip WsPrincess. Gotta love the packing and cleaning part but its definitely for a worthwhile cause!!!!!!

It depends on who you talk to. I never recommend doing on-line check-in. But that's my personal opinion. So you could talk to someone in IPO today and that person would say yes and tomorrow talk to a different person and depending on their experience with on-line, they could say no.

I was worried about it but decided since we don't have any room requests I would try it out! I can't believe I didn't have a single request this time :confused3 but I am thrilled with anything we get because we will finally be at BC! See you soon

Thumbs up for the fried chicken at 50's PT!!!!!!! Love it!

And the pot roast and the meatloaf and the mashed potatoes. . .
The sampler platter was the best thing that PTC could have done!

Can you tell that I've been doing nutrisystem too long - I'm starting to dream about Disney food. The other night I dreamed of Ohana and mickey bars! 12 1/2 lbs. down though - getting ready to eat (and drink!) my way
through Disney!!!!

OK, I need help from all of you Beach Club Club Level vets...

We just switched over to CL LV, and although we have stayed there before it was only on an upgrade, so I never used any of the pre-trip IPO services. Well, I am an obsessive planner, have all my ADR's and itinerary ready to go.

I am itching to send IPO an email..but I don't think I need anything!!!! Is there something that you think I might be missing that they could help me with? What do you all use them for?

Thanks in advance....
Linda

Cking in at BC 6\30...when should we make a room request. Want a waterview and nearest Epcot Entrance...thanks in advance.

Hope you can get what you want. If you are spending a lot of time at Epcot then ask for the room to be close to Epcot. If not, I'd ask for close to lobby so you don't walk as far for the bus stop.

Scattered on the 5th floor of the resort since you are CL. As Teena said, as long as there is no water or no roofs, it's GV. However, many of the posters report (and I'm one of them) that evern if you have GV, you may get to look at the water if you look out your balconey to the left or the right.

Hello again everyone! :wave2:

I'm back on the boards and all caught up with the thread after my surgery. I've been starting out slowly, reading the BC/YC gang's trip reports and now this thread. This has kept my spirits up as I ride the roller coaster of recovery. I am very fortunate to report that I am now cancer free and with some minor concessions I am expected to make a complete recovery from a very rare type of gastric cancer.

To celebrate I have added a trip banner for my December trip. I very much look forward to reading all the questions and witty repartee as I store resort knowledge in my brain like a well fed chipmunk stores morsels in it's cheeks. I have a feeling it's time for me to make my ADR's but I will need more time for that as my brain cells slowly migrate back to the useful zone. Reading all this wonderful information is getting me primed to make the grand plan for my December trip!

In any case here is a big thank you to all who post here. :grouphug: Your musings and experiences and sharing are good for the soul!

Dining and recreation reservations along with anything special you might want to plan.

When you email the IPO the dining and recreation reservations Teena mentioned, they will email you back with a printable itinerary. If you had an addition or change, email them, they will update your interary and email it back to you as an attachment. It's very helpful!
(They say they get back to you within 24 hours, but usually my experience is it's much faster.)
