I was listening to an old pocast from 2008 (it was a review of the Polynesian). It was interesting and funny to hear the podcasters complaining that 1 day passes were just raised to $75. One comment was, "If the question is how much is too much, THIS is too much." Here we are, 6 years later and the price of a 1 day pass has doubled to $150... unbelievable.

That's so funny. I just listened to that episode this week also and thought that was so funny. I've been listening to old podcast from before I started listening. I love talking back to the podcast team and telling them what will happen in the future(that's not weird at all, right). I also enjoy when they question whether Harry Potter will be successful!!:rotfl2:

And a premium AP was 199 11-12 years ago now it's 699. A premier pass for both coasts is now 1029... Where will we be in another 2-5 even 10 years Disney keeps raising prices but people still come.

I didn't even know these podcasts existed. I was watching a video last week of MNSSHP (went to it for the first tiem last year) and then podcast came up as a suggestion on itunes. I've been downloading and listening in my car. I may cancel my satellite radio account. I might not need it anymore.

I'm listening to old podcasts too at the moment (on March 2009 this week - I get through about 2 a day!). They were talking about whether the tickets would break the $100 barrier and if that's when guests would start saying it's not worth it - it doesn't look like it's had an impact on guest numbers!

I remember for years WDW used to be cheaper than my local theme park (Thorpe Park, it's a very popular theme park near London - rides like Busch Gardens but without the animals!). Have just checked and a 1 day ticket is £48 (about $75) but they always do lots of buy one get one free vouchers in newspapers so realistically you'd never pay more than about £25.

How do you get to the really old podcasts? It looks like I tunes won't let me go back further than 2011. I want to go back to the beginning

I use Downcast instead of Itunes to listen and I can go as far back as august 2006. They're complaining about the day price being ~$67 per day and how expensive that is. It was a simpler time I guess.

I can hear the plug now -DisUnplugged ...more entertaining than satellite radio!
