old PHP for child now 12

I have two old park hopper plus passes that were my daughter's who now is 12. How do they figure out what to charge to upgrade the pass. One pass has one plus feature left, the other has 2 pluses and 1 park hopper day left. Do I take the php's to guest relations when I get to Disney to upgrade them? Thanks!

There is no charge to re-issue the pass from a child to adult. You can do this at guest relations at a major park and your child must be with you. The CM will check the ticket for prior use and your childs age now and the dates must make sense. They will re-issue an adult pass with the exact number of admission days and or plus options as the childs pass had. They can determine from the computer how many days are remaining and even when and where it was last used!

It only took about 5 minutes when we did this at Epcot last May.

You are a little vague in your details. I am guessing that you mean that you have two child PHP's from a time when your daughter was under 10. If that is the case, you can take them to any Guest Relations location and they will exchange them for adult tickets with the exact same unused admissions on them as the old child tickets.

Since your daughter is only 12, there would be no problem in her just using up the admissions without exchanging the old tickets. But if it makes you more comfortable to exchange them, then by all means do.

Thanks golden oldie, I read the info on Deb's site, it was helpful. I actually made a typo when I first typed the post and it should have said passes not pass... oops.
