Old Photos of WDW

My son is doing a project for school where he has to pick a city, town or village in another country, and then do all sorts of topic work on that destination. Given our trip to WDW this year, we naturally picked Orlando!

This week's task is to find an old and new picture of the destination to show how things have changed in that city.

Does anybody know any good photos on the web that shows what was on the site of the Magic Kingdom before it was built?

I was also thinking of including some photos of the construction too, so any photos showing that would also be good.

Try Retro Disney World. You might also find some good stuff on Walt Dated World or Yesterland.

There is an active thread on old / historic Disney park photos on the THeme Parks Community Board. It has plenty pages and has been running for some time so you would have a lot to sift through but it's really interesting. I love scrolling through all the old photos and seeing what it looked like before
