I just happen to be scanning old photos to store on the computer.

so was i and my wife scanning are old photos we put ours on flicker so i did not take up so mush space on the computer

Mine are on Smugmug along with my computer(most also on external hard drives and discs). Luckily, my scanner will auto crop if multiple photos have been scanned together so I have been doing them 3 at a time. I averaged 500-600/year. I am completely done up through 1998 and all of our trips are done, 6 years to go.....
I have been scanning at 400dpi, they don't seem to take up all that much room.

We found that the characters are much more accessible at Disneyland vs Disney World. Of course that was almost 10 yrs ago now!
