Old park hopper questions

We will be heading back to WDW for about the 20th time this summer. I still have 2 days each on two old park hopper tickets left over from two years ago before they started tying the tickets to each individual. I was going to trade them in but decided I would just buy new tickets and keep the old ones since they are not tied to one person plus they still have plusses for the water parks that I would lose if I trade them in (I did that once and do not want to do it again). My only question is has anyone heard any rumors about Disney reaching a point where they will stop honoring old tickets purchased prior to their starting the Magic Your Way tickets? :cool1:

I sure hope not! Now you have me concerned! I bought tickets in August 2004 that I intend to use whenever I get the chance to go back to the World and one of the reasons that I did so without hesitation was because they claimed to have no expiry. It is a good question to ask though and I'm curious to know the answer.

I'd have to double check.

I KNOW that any tickets that are not Magic Your Way tickets can no longer be upgraded. In order to upgrade, non-Magic Your Way tickets must be completely unused.

I don't know if you can get a pro-rated credit for a partially used, non-Magic Your Way ticket, but my guess would be no.

Those old park hoppers will be good forever. Disney has never made even the slightest hint of a whisper that they would change this policy.
