Old Pal Mickey in St Augustine

I dont know if I remember anyone saying that they saw them there but we just got back and stopped on the way home and they had the older Pal Mickeys for $27.99. I just wish we would have stopped on the way down!

My question is for those who bought theirs through the mail was it pretty much "empty"? I mean not much downloaded on it like the games etc? Ours seems to be and my thought is that it has never been taken in a park etc so nothing has been able to be downloaded? Sure hope that is it!

Ours has three games and a few jokes. He repeats the same jokes all the time (Smell-ephant)! We rented one a couple of years ago and he was more fun in the parks. I don't know if he keeps the updated info once he's been to the park - maybe someone else can answer that question.

He was tied into the box and looked as if he'd never been opened. We enjoy having him around, though, and my 6yo son has taken him to get ice cream. He also pulls Mickey's nose down and calls him Mortimer.

If he doesn't seem to be saying a lot, change the batteries. Ours was acting strangely when we first bought him and that was why.

Don't they reset when you walk into the parks? Or is this one that hasn't been to the parks. Ours has lots of jokes and games.

We changed the batteries and that wasnt it..this hasnt been into a park at all so that is what I am figuring is up with it? I hope so anyway

Please don't take this as insulting, but I made this same mistake... did you turn him on? Because there are actually 3 setting I believe- on, off and demo and in demo he would appear to be 'empty'. Just a thought

I will doublecheck but I thought I only saw on and off and we checked that..but its worth another look!

Where in St. Augustine did you find the Pal Mickeys? We will be there next month and would like to pick one up. Thanks.

We got it at the Disney Outlet at the Belz outlets in St Augustine (off I-95) Its in the "middle" building if that helps. Not sure if they will still have any next month but its sure worth a try and its a pretty nice outlet too (its park stuff mostly like the ones in Orlando)

Ours I believe was in the off position but still played the demo stuff untill we turned the button to on. Might have been the opposite, I'm sleepy and cannot think straight at the momment. but we did have to turn the buttons off or on to get him off of the demo stuff & to get him to play the games. I thought it was the batteries too until i hit the buttons then he did what he was suppose to.
