Old Navy Plus & Justice 1/2 Sizes ?

My dd has been blessed with a bit of a butt. So much so that she can't fit into the size she should be wearing. The jeans will fit everywhere else except in the butt. So I got to thinking about getting her plus sized jeans from Old Navy or 1/2 sizes from Justice. Has anyone ever bought the plus or 1/2 sizes from either place? Can you tell me if they are relaxed fit in the butt area?

They may give your daughter the extra room that she needs. My daughter was more rounded in the belly, so we started buying plus size a few years ago. We love the arizona jeans from jcpenny. JCPenny's has a great girls plus size selection (everything from Easter dresses, disney shirts, to swim suits). Good Luck. Plus sizes are usually the correct length, they just have a little more room all around.

My daughter wears 14 1/2 from both Justice and Old Navy. They fit her very well. The extra room is all around, waist, butt, thighs. My daughter is tall but still has that poochy little girl belly, so these work perfect for her.

Respectfully, the size she "should" be wearing is the size that fits, whatever that may be. If what fits is a (bear with me, I don't know how Justice jeans are sized) an eleven and a half, then that's the size she should be wearing - not any manufacturer's preconceived notion of what size someone her category should be wearing.

We just bought a 10 1/2 @ Justice for school this year. The clerk told me that the waist is a 14, but the lengh is that of a 10. My daughter is petite and stocky so she needs that extra room right now.

We went with the 8Plus from GAP and Old Navy (only available, on-line though). DD9 has always been petite, but this summer put on a good bit of weight around the middle, but still has really thin arms and legs. I'm hoping that she is gearing up for a growth spurt! She got a couple of pairs of "skinny jeans" in the 8Plus and they fit her perfectly. She really only needs the plus size for jeans/pants.

I am having the same issues with my daughter. She has a round full belly and need 1/2 sizes. Luckily, I've found some at the thrift store very reasonably prices! Good Luck.

I have always been able to find 1/2 sizes for my DD in either Sears or JC Penney. My DD has bigger thighs (thanks to me) and the 1/2 sizes have been a God send!
