hmmm...Maybe head to Dawns house for dinner?
Sounds like a plan! I'll go just about anywhere if it means I don't have to cook. :rolleyes1

My tooth was hurting earlier, the one that is cracked and still needs to be extracted. Anyway, I took one of my left over Vicodin and now I am quite happy. :hippie: I rather like those little pills. :rotfl:

I have tramadol for my knee...I like those pills...but the next day, I am lil bit of an airhead!
I am glad your tooth is feeling better.

Ahem, you caught that code huh? :rolleyes1

You aren't the only one who uses that code. ;)

Shove that bunny back in the hole please.

That sounds like someone has been on one to many adult toy sites. Just sayin.

Yes, it did come much too fast.

It was very good. We BBQ'd carne asada, burgers, we had spinich dip tray, veggie tray, fruit tray & beans, it was mighty tasty!

Beth~ I totally understand. I have my aunt here, but she works. My cousin but her boyfriends family usually has something. My kids grandparents usually go to their oldest son's house.
So that just leaves the boys & I.
So I am not quite sure what we will do this year.

Have a non traditional holiday. I have been doing that more and more. This year we are going to the movies....my mom, myself and my "adoptive" sis. Then we will hit up some shopping. We will be meeting my nana and her "friend" Charles for dinner at Bucca di Beppo. Remember, I sent my brother, father, DD and nephews camping this weekend.

I get that airhead feeling the day following taking my sleeping helpers.

Thanks. I'm always a little bit of an airhead so it's really no difference for me.

That sounds really nice! Maybe we'll take a cue from you and hit the movies. The girls want to see that Alien and Monsters movie (or whatever it's called), and Adam and Ruben want to see Fast and the Furious. We can do the egg hunt, then go out to eat, then do the movies.
I think that will be a nice way to end their Spring Break.

Sounds like a plan. I would plan to do the movie earlier than later though. Cheaper that way. :thumbsup2

Is it June yet???? This day stinks so far.....:sad2: And I'm not ready for Easter at all. Good thing I only have one child to worry about - and he's easy. Just get him an XBox game and some of those seashell chocolates (not sure where he got those from before, but it wasn't me!!!) and he's good to go!!! Although money would also be gladly accepted

I normally make turkey dinner for Easter (here it's turkey for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter), but not this year. I just don't feel like it. We do have a ham though, so I'll do that. Normally we would have a house full of people over too, but I did not feel like it this year (geez, I think I'm turning into a Scrooge :scared:). Jesse also has two ball hockey games on the weekend, so not much time.......

Oh don't let Vin hear you call it Fast & the Furious. He was on Jay I think or something, its Fast & Furious, no the. He is way cute!!
He is kinda shy also.

Sounds like a great way to end spring break.

I totally agree!! I wish it were June also.
My boys are pretty easy. Its just getting it all together, that is the pain. And then I really dread dying the eggs. But then Kaeleb will eat deviled eggs for days.

Ummmm, lucky guess :confused3 :rolleyes1

I want barbecue too! We don't even own a barbecue right now - but we definitely need one before summer. The problem is I stink at barbecuing and Frank is no better (he burns everything :sad2:). There is only one really good BBQ restaurant anywhere near here too and it's quite far away - my son's fave restaurant though. It's called Memphis Blues and it is sooooo yummy!

Jesse won't color eggs any more, he's too cool like that :cool2: Just give him the goods and let him play XBox, thank you very much :snooty:

Do what ever is going to make you happy, not what is expected. If you don't feel up to making turkey or having tons of people over then don't. Go out to eat, or just order pizza.

I agree with Stacie that sometimes doing something untraditional for the holidays can be fun. It's being with family that counts, not really what y'all do. :)

On the other hand, maybe if I say it wrong loud enough, he'll hear me and come over to set me straight in person. :yay: ;)

At least your kids will eat them. Mine insist on coloring them, but hate hard boiled eggs of any variety so they end up getting tossed out. Such a waste of money.

I just started loving hard boil eggs. If I were at your house, I'd eat them for you.

OK! :hyper:

I can raid your closet too!

I have a craving for hard boiled eggs now. :rotfl2:

egg salad sandwiches--yum!

It takes lots a practice. Start easy, watch Bobby Flay. He is soooo COOL!!

Jordan is too cool to dye eggs also. Kaeleb is still young enough to have fun with.

I'm the same way! :rotfl2:

I like untraditional. Its a lot of fun. Mix it up a bit.

hmm...maybe I would say The, then?? He can set me straight any day.

When Jordan was younger he was scared of egg salad sandwhiches. :confused3 I dunno why? He just was, we had a lot of fun with that once...:rolleyes1
