with all the new disney ticket packages now available can we still use our one day that is left from our passes from last year

Yup! The only tickets that are shortly to become void are the 1 day/1 park tickets you could only buy at the gate - everything else will still be honored

all old tickets are lifetime tickets. The trouble with the new tickets is unless you pay extra for it they are no longer that way.
