Totally agree! I sometimes think back to that era when you just chose your park for the day and went for it; made dining reservations maybe a day ahead or maybe not. There was some pure enjoyment just being there and experiencing the whole thing not frantically checking pre-trip for specific dining reservations and Lightning passes and braving big crowds. If a park was too crowded you just moved to another one if you could or went back to your resort to swim. I find myself back in that era just looking at my early trip picturesI just love these old Disney pictures. Our first trip was l977, so it's fun to reminisce about that time when Disney wasn't so crowded or hard to plan for !
