i always remember that the goofy one has the red nose, but i forget which name it is, so i love the chocolate chip nose thing. Thanks!
I always tell Chip & Dale apart because Dale has two teeth & Chip has only one. I like your version better though.![]()
NO WAAAY! I so thought I read that COP was finally closed for good! Thats great news! Looks like I will be visiting COP once again next month =)
I just returned yesterday from WDW..... the COP is still up and running. My kids (9 & 5) both really enjoyed it and were totally intrigued with the whole rotating theater idea. COP has always been one of my favorites!![]()
Here's mine for today..........I think these boats are gone now.
I seriously choked on my diet coke looking at these pictures! I absolutely LOVE the shorty shirt your brother was wearing!How totally 80's of him.....
Woo hoo, here's some more 80s magic...

This is my first trip to WDW in 1986. Here's the whole family in front of the fountain at Epcot.

Here we are gallivanting with celebrities later at Epcot (PS, I'm the little girl with the twin brother...will come in handy later for awkward photo).

Arr, we were pirates before it was fashionable![]()

And here I am with my twin brother (and two cousins) just four short years later. We are, of course, in front of Liberty Tree Tavern. Feel free to notice how, at the tender age of 10, I was beginning to enter my "awkward" years (i.e., my ponytail looks like my entire scalp is being pulled back).
I recently scanned these in after looking for photos to put together for my mom's 50th. I have the rest of the 86 trip waiting to be scanned, but I have yet to dig up the rest of the 1990 trip. I love seeing these old pictures...these trips were the foundation for my love of Disney today. And knowing that my parents scrimped and saved and worked really hard to take us there makes it even more meaningful![]()
I was reading some vintage photos thread on one of these boards yesterday and someone had posted an old park hopper - so I got out all of mine that I could find - thought everyone would love to see the old ones.

The first one is from 1981 (3 days in the magic kingdom for $27.75 - what a bargain!!); then the next one looks like 1984 ($65.50 for a 5 day park hopper -Magic Kingdom and Epcot)

1984 Park Hopper for 4-days, two parks for $48.00;
1989 Park Hopper for 4-days, three parks for $97.00 (grand opening of MGM)

1990 Park Hopper for 5-days including Pleasure Island for $130.00;
1990 Park Hopper for 4-days for $99.00 (Magic Kindom Club - I miss the Magic Kingdom Club)
1990 Park Hopper for 6-days - no price on it.
I also found some old napkins that I had kept.

Does anyone know if the napkins still look like this at the CBR???
Nice shots. Isn't that the Hall of Presidents in the last photo?

It was actually October. I was lucky...I got out of school and I got to celebrate my birthday in WDW!
That would have been really neat, though!
Thank you so much Disneygrl36!! For the longest time, I have had this vague memory of being on the upstairs part of a boat with tons of other people when my baby sister threw her bottle down the stairs and some guy picked it up and handed it to my mom. It is the only thing I remember, but I couldn't remember where it was, until I saw your picture!!! (page 19) The boat is exactly the way I saw it in my head and as soon as I saw the staircase, I knew for sure.
Thanks!! Now I know that memory was from my first ever Disney trip...I was 4![]()
