Old Disney Park photos

LOVE the picks...keep them coming. Tomorrow I will dig out some, might even go to my mom's and swipe some of her's from when I was little.

I was so glad to see pic's of the skyway. My family doesn't (didn't) believe me it was ever there!

I love to look at all the old pics. I have some from Disneyland in the early 80's. I have to find them and scan them. I hope to find them soon. This thread makes me want to look now. Post as soon as I find them.

Not sure the purpose of this clock, although the 15's probably tie in with Celebration, but why is there a car at the MK entrance?

I've got more from trip in 1978, but have to go to mom's house to get them.

Every 15 seconds, someone entering the park won a prize. The car is one of the prizes. My brother won a one day pass that we still have!

:scared1: Yikes, what a fun looking guy, Crystal, LOL.

I just found this thread, have it subscribed to now, have to come back some evening when I have time to go through it, I always enjoy these oldies threads. :thumbsup2

I BELIEVE this character is retired, I haven't seen him or pictures of him since. This was in AK.

:lmao: That's the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life!

These pictures are great. I am sorry, but I do not care for that cake castle at all. I think that is the biggest eye-sore. :(

This from 1990--my sister & me on the giant bee on the Backlot Tour at MGM. They had the screen behind, did the filming & then played it back with the Honey I Shrunk the Kids footage. (like they do with Pearl Harbor now, but a lot drier :teeth: )

It was a magical moment for us to be chosen--& it was years before the YOAMD :cloud9: .

Ignore the dates; I took digitals of the old ones instead of scanning.

My little brother and me at Ft. Wilderness, March 1973. We asked several CMs at FW about this big sign on our 2004 trip (brother and sis both pulled their big 5th wheels down to stay at the Fort)- even showed pics, but no one knew anything about it. Anyone know when it was removed?

Ok Im in love with how these photo's have the round edges like all the pic's of me and DH in the late 70's early 80's. The clothes make these shots. In the first pic the woman in the pink haltertop/short thing! Oh my!

Here is one from 1982 of my brothers and I. I'm the one in the white bonnet. Gotta love those Dukes of Hazard hats my brothers have on! :thumbsup2 :lmao: My mother had fun dressing as alike. My brothers were often dressed alike and my sister and I were often dressed alike. This trend unfortunately continued for many years.

I'll have to find a way to scan the pictures i have from 1982 and 87. I know we have a bunch of the parade.

suscribing so I can go back and enjoy all the wonderful pics when I have more time and to show the BF when he gets home from work. Awesome photos everyone.

Okay, I thought the kid in the front left's blue and white tie-dye outfit was kind of funny...UNTIL I saw that the lady in the background was wearing the EXACT same thing! Now I think it's hilarious! :rotfl2: They aren't even together!

And yeesh, what's up with those parade characters? And here I always thought the Spectro clown guys were creepy!

I think it is, the shoes look like heels! I can NOT believe they have on outfits with the same ugly material! That's definetly back in the day when more people sewed their outfits!
