Is there a web site where you can purchase old Disney movies?

I belong to the Disney Movie Club and I've ordered some older movies from them-The Absent Minded Professor and the Apple Dumpling gang. They've got a ton to choose from! Good luck!

Two of my favorites aren't on that list...Candleshoe and Treasure of Matacumbe. Does anyone remember those?

Try eBay! (ebay.com) just search for the movie you want, there will probably be a large number of VHS and DVD... just watch out, especially a lot of the DVDs are imports with subtitles. Ask the seller first if they don't specifically say it is authentic US version.

Loved Candleshoe! Wouldn't that be great if they brought it out on DVD?

I, too, recently joined the Disney Movie Club and their prices are reasonable and it seems like they are always running some kind of deal. I bought Escape to Witch Mountain and Return to Witch Mountain from them. Both movies bring back lots of childhood memories.

One of my all time favorite films is the 1976 version of Freaky Friday. I just love that movie and it still makes me laugh after all these years.

Candleshoe - I may be wrong, but I really thought I saw this a few months back at Costco on DVD. I also saw several other oldies.

We didn't buy that one, but we bought the Gnome Mobile. My girls really like that one. :flower:

Candleshoe is available on DVD. Just as a side note, there's a great website that details only Disney DVD releases - www.ultimatedisney.com - They update it every day of the week with new info.
